Highly recommend booking a visit. Very welcoming and easy to social distance due to the relaxed self-guided tour style. Learnt more than I would have expected and the children (aged 3.5yrs and 18 months) loved exploring as well as feeding the chickens. Delicious fresh oranges, orange juice, marmalade and traditional Mallorcan tomatoes on bread all included-lovely treat!

Can Prunera was built between 1904 and 1911. Nothing is known about its author, although two hypothesis exist: according to one of them, it was Joan Rubio i Bellver (1870-1952), a Catalan architect who at that time was working on the facades of Saint Bartholomew Church and the Bank of Soller headquarters, but there is no documental evidence of it. Another hypothesis attributes it to local builders.
Fascinating combination of museum and gallery. Enjoyed the architecture and the information about the building's history, and the artwork and exhibitions. The Pep Guerrero exhibition was a particular treat.

A charming little town hidden in the mountains. A must on your visit in Mallorca. We strolled in the narrow streets and had coffee at the Placa d’Espanya. Beautiful!

The outside of this church is magnificent. Wow! Unexpected treat. Alas, could not get inside. Will try again early am before getting in the road. Lovely small town plaza out front. Good people watching at night.

Beautiful promenade with many shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is spotless with many boats and yachts anchored in the bay. And the tram, this is a must.

Botanic Garden with interesting collection of plant species from Balearic islands, Canary and Madeira Islands, and Mediterranean islands as Corsica, Sardinia, Crete or Sicily. You can visit as well the medicinals plants collection, cactus collection and autoctonous fruits and vegetables collection.
Having read a number of negative reviews I was in two minds whether I should visit at all but I'm so glad I did. Some reviewers must have come here with the wrong expectations, esp if they visited in summer. This is not Kew Gardens with lush mixed borders full of flower colour! As a Botanic Garden it has a scientific purpose: the display, study and preservation of the flora of the Balearic islands and other Mediterranean as well as Canary Islands. This it does very well. Different sections have their individual themes, plants are labelled, and one can read about how plants preserve water during the hot dry summer. For many that means that they haven't lush green leaves in the baking sun, but they aren't dead. In any case, there is plenty to look at and enjoy even in August, such as cacti in flower and waterlilies and dragonflies on a pond. Come and see for yourself! Parking is easy.
