The church was out of this world, the exterior is very well maintained but once you step inside what an amazing building. Worth a visit.

Ski school mountainmind offers a wide range of lessons and courses and services in alpine skiing including guiding, skitouring and coaching. Professional, authentic and personal.
Without doubt, I cannot recommend this company enough. The quality of the instruction, attention to detail and their enthusiasm and professional manner they adopt, is fantastic. As a UK Based ski instructor, I am yet to come across another Austrian ski school that can deliver to the same standard that Mountainmind has to offer. 1st Class & 5 star.

Ski resort
Spent four summer seasons at the hotel Feldweble, great hotel, owners very friendly and great staff, hotel is situated in the centre or the village, close to all shops and bars. Every Thursday they hold a market with lots of stalls and typical Tyrollean music with good food. Great place for walking. Great skiing area. Ski lifts within walking distance. As I have said I was a coach driver spent ten great years in Austria. Now retired since 2008. In summer the farmers take all their cattle up in the mountains and in winter bring them down again all with headdress on. Great to see.

MARVEL - CONTEMPLATE - COMPREHENDWith more than 60 wet and wonderful stations, the Hexenwasser theme park, meaning Witch Water, offers a natural experience and encourages the whole family to discover and explore - daily from 09.00 am to 5.30 pm.Humming stone, witch’s fireplace, singing water bowl, witch’s stone mill, home of the queen bee, witch’s ladder…these are the mysterious titles, as though in a picture book! Anyone aged 3 to 103 can read this book! The people in charge of each station make sure visitors get to see and experience the fascinating wonders of nature in a fun way. Walking barefoot over rocks and stones, through streams and meadows on the longest barefoot trail is reflexology for your feet and revives the entire body. Watch the bees coming and going in the Bee Theatre, copy the bees’ tail wagging dance or even go into the pitch-black beehive, and you’ll soon be walking on air too!

SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in the world. 284 Km of ski runs, 90 modern cable cars and lifts and 81 rustic Alpine huts and apres ski bars are all easily accessed from the villages of Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Kelchsau, Scheffau, Soll and Westendorf.
Great holiday, in Soll - part of the SkiWelt extensive ski area - will revisit. RESORT - picturesque, felt safe, with variety of good restaurants and bars for eating out and apres ski. Live music in bars most evenings. Crystal Reps - available if needed, being friendly, informative and helpful. SKIING - was excellent, easy access to lifts - free ski buses & only 15 minute walk to main gondola base station. No queuing for lifts. Recommend spending Eur 10 per person for ski depot garage underneath the ski hire shop, nearest the main gondola station (unless can ski back to accommodation)plenty of blue & red runs for beginners and intermediates, over which is why we chose Soll. Good skiing area with variety of runs - tour between nearby villages easily. SKI SCHOOL - tuition was very good with my family experiencing 5 different instructors - all very good, spoke excellent English (many are English). Special mention must go to Soll Ski School Instructor Phillip Saville - simply the best, professional, clear instruction/tips, encouraging and motivating all in group to improve, great personality and fun too, who took us on variety of slopes and tours of area. . Similarly thanks to Ski Instructor Yursten. OVERALL - I would recommend Soll, Hotel Tyrol and the Soll Ski School.

The Jam Jar is a great apres ski bar with excellent live bands most nights of the week. The added bonus about the Jam Jar is that it's totally non smoking, making it a great place to spend a few hours after you come off the slopes.
