Its capital is the municipality also named Siquijor. To the north of Siquijor is Cebu, to the west is Negros, northeast is Bohol, and to the south, across the Bohol Sea, is Mindanao.

Looking to escape the heat of the day we decided to go underground after the very long bumpy road we arrive at Sambulawan Underground River there in a field was a little shelter with life jackets hanging in the breeze asked about it thought what the heck lets go me & my friend took oof with 2 guides very friendly appologised for their lack of english but they were pretty good at it after a couple of mins. we were at the opening a very steep walk down a track the very steep stairs into the mountain the guides were very helpful and safety wise then as we got down to the water our headlamps lit into the river a guide in front & 1 at the rear always watching out for us telling us the hazards (rocks below & above ,sharp rocks etc) showing us all the wildlife in the cave bats & spiders (always friendly spiders) had to laugh there were 3 different passages we went through wading in the river ,climbing through the cave or in the mud of which is good for the skin lots of history they told stories of wartime when the japanese lived in this cave to get their water a very enjoyable time for just over an hour down there at the end of caving we floated in the water cooled down ready for what we was coming the steep walk out but overall it was worth every bit

There's nothing like it!You hit the jackpot for once in a life time experience. Highly recommended. Overlooking the ocean, mindblowing artistry,overflowing of wine collection from the giant bottle to the tiniest you've ever imagined. The longest wooden bench that's fits 31 people.
