It made me sad to read the stories of the Italians interned at Harvey during the war - just because they were Italian. We need to have these stories told so we can learn from history

Stopped for lunch on a stinking hot day. The room we were in was quite cool thanks to the thick homestead walls.. I had the Veg burger. Mushroom camenbert cheese caramelised onions and salad. Served with tasty sweet potato chips. It was wonderful. I think new owners have taken charge. Everyone liked their meals. The s&p squid was generous and very tasty. We visit harvey reg. Will stop again. Great experience

We drove to Harvey Dam and Amphitheatre for a group get together. The place is absolutely stunning! The whole area is well maintained and the facilities are clean and tidy. It is very relaxing and a great connection with nature along with beautiful spiritual energies all around the place. Plenty of shaded area's as well.

Harvey River Estate is a family owned winery located in the town of Harvey, Western Australia, an hour and a half south of Perth. Open daily from 10am until 4pm, the popular local winery features a cellar door and is home to the 'Big Orange'. Visitors can enjoy a guided tasting of the award-winning wines, climb the 'Big Orange' and browse through the range of unique giftware and wine accessories. The cellar door is wheel-chair friendly, and the carpark can accommodate caravan parking.
Was served by the most lovely young lady! Great big smile, beautiful venue and worth the stop. Orchard is gorgeous to look at as you go up the Big Orange.
