Chartwell House, gardens, shop, cafe, toilets and car park have now reopened. Tickets for entry to the Car Park and gardens must be pre-booked via the National Trust Chartwell web-site. For entry to the House upgrade your ticket on arrival. The House tickets are limited in order to allow for social distancing.
Visited Chartwell on the hoof when dropping my car in to a local car roof repairer. £15.50 per adult without gift aid. £4 all-day parking. You are given a slot to visit the house to keep crowds moving. However very few other visitors at this time of year when the kids are about to return to school to avoid the anticipated huge crowds the rest of the year so strongly recommend visiting end August or Sept. Beautiful property, very very cosy and intimate. You can see how Churchill would have cherished this retreat from the pressures of State. You can visit Clemmy's bedroom, the Library, Drawing and Dining rooms all very tastefully decorated, as well as Churchill's art studio and his works. Currently images and commentaries on his life in an exhibition. Cafe on site but how this would deal with massive numbers of visitors we have utterly no idea as service was unbearably slow even with virtually no one else in the queue.

Hever Castle was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the intriguing second wife of Henry VIII and mother of Elizabeth I. The castle is a romantic double moated 13th-century castle which houses historic 16th-century portraits, paintings, furniture, tapestries and treasures. Comprehensive information on the history of Hever Castle can be found in the guide book and audio tours are available from the Hever Shop, Visitor Centre or castle entrance. Visitors can explore the magnificent gardens for all seasons which include Italian, Rose and Tudor gardens, topiary, yew maze and splashing water maze, or take a stroll around the informal areas of Sunday Walk and Anne Boleyn's Walk. Hever hosts a number of special events throughout the season including gardening events with the head gardener and his team. Family fun includes jousting tournaments each summer, one of our most popular events.
Hever Castle birth place of Anne Boleyn situated in acres & acres of woodland with fantastic rose gardens flower beds the Italian garden vast lake all easily accessible to able bodied people as well as disabled. The excellent castle however is far from disabled friendly with narrow steep winding stone stairs going from floor to floor. However you decide to enjoy this magnificent castle & gardens be prepared to put in plenty of leg work but it is worth it

For families we have a fab adventure playground, den building woods, boat swing, holiday activities & our much loved resident yeti (weekends & school holidays 2-4). Seasonal highlights include: bluebell woods in early spring, rhododendrons & azaleas later in spring, our alium & peony borders early summer, followed by fragrant roses, rounding off the season with spectacular autumn colour, especially from our beautiful acer collection. Dogs on leads very welcome. Admission by pre-booked tickets only. See website to book. BRING A REUSABLE CUP IF YOU WOULD LIKE TAKEAWAY.
One of the hidden gems of Kent, never too busy but breathtaking in its beauty from the gardens to the modern sculptures, the children love exploring and has the major attraction of an adventure play area and a cafe serving wonderful beverages and fresh made cakes. High recommended.

One of the world's most iconic sporting venues, Brands Hatch plays host to a multitude of prestigious motorsport events on both two and four wheels. Brands Hatch is visited by a multitude of top class national championships including the British Superbike Championship and British Touring Car Championship. A natural Amphitheatre offering unrivalled views of the action from various vantage points, Brands Hatch is known as Britain's best loved motor racing circuit. And you can experience it for yourself with a renowned programme of driving experiences and trackdays on offer.
I absolutely love Brands Hatch, I have been for many different events and participated in a few track days. I always find a nice, family friendly atmosphere and great staff. Id always recommend parking on Southbank when you can, my favourite viewing point is up the hill, halfway between paddock hill and druids as you get great views of three corners! Bring a chair if you can.

First visit to this wildfowl reserve on a bright winters day . Lots to see and a lovely place being reclaimed by nature. Easy to follow signposted trails good for kids , aslong as they are quiet in the bird spotting hides. Circle walk not yet ready but will be a bonus when it's finished . Visitors centre is excellent . Carpark needs potholes sorting out . Great for all seasons visits saw lots of wild birds

Swanley Park is an award winning site, with over 300,000 visitors a year. New management took over in 2017 and since then a variety of new attractions and improvements have been introduced. Over 15 attractions to date! A family fun packed day out - Simply Swanley Park.
What a great place - lovely large park with a small lake and an area with a paddling pool and fountains. Best was picnicking in the main park itself and the miniature railway - the kids loved it and great value - all run volunteers. The paddling pool was very busy on the sunny day we went so be prepared for just how many people will be in this area around the paddling pool and cafe on a sunny day, but we found a space and the kids had fun splashing about! Well worth the trip, especially as it's free. Well done Swanley ???? Parking is cheap and other thing there that you can pay fur such as rowing boat, crazy golf and a small ropes course.

A beautiful vineyard nestled in the picturesque village of Shoreham and situated wonderfully close to Shoreham village train station which has direct links to Bromley, London and Sevenoaks. A 28 acre estate with 10 acres under vine producing 6 fantastic wines. Visitors are welcome to join us for wine tasting, drinks by the glass or bottle (beers, soft drinks and spirits too) and purchases of wines to take away. We also serve cheese & charcuterie (with pizzas and other hot dishes coming in 2018) so it is easy to enjoy a few hours in our lovely tasting room and courtyard with retractable roof! Also available for private hire for parties and celebrations.
Had lunch with my wife, daughter and 2 sons and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My daughter had been telling me for months that I would love it, and I did! Some interesting wines and food choices, we settled for a board of cheeses and crackers, selected hams and crackers and a “Mount Etna” pizza, baked in their own pizza oven. (The pizza was the best I’ve tasted outside of Naples) They only open 12-6 3 or 4 days a week, I believe. A very, very nice dining room too, and the roof opens a la centre court Wimbledon! An altogether extremely pleasant lunch ????????????????
