Kids loved riding on the horses, had trouble getting them off at the end of the ride. No waiting time and price was right

The Odeon Star Semaphore is quite simply the best cinema in South Australia, the ticket prices are fantastic, they get the latest movies, plenty of parking. The Proud family who own the cinema are lovely people, they are part of the Semaphore community and the community is better for teir presence in it. I met the Proud clan when they first took over the cinema, what lovely friendly engaging people, they are "genuine" people" , they are always open to a "chin wag" and are very interested in talking about the movies they show.. And they have the best Choc Tops on the planet, thanks Jackie :)

We based our week long stay in Semaphone. It was a great place to explore greater Adelaide. It is both relaxing and beautiful but also has great nightlife if you are seeking with live music at multiple locations on the weekends. The locals were really friendly and welcoming and everything you need is within walking distance of the main street - loads of food options and conveniences

Visited on Saturday 29th February. No visit to Semaphore would be complete without checking out this piece of early history. Also you get goods views of the beach and jetty from it's raised position.

Beautiful sandy beach, the jetty takes you out for a great look back over Semaphore. Lovely to walk along and you can hire a bike opposite the Jetty on the corner to get a great view of the area

The front bar is just as you imagine an Aussie front bar should be, busy but not noisy, good service with a wide range of beers, both local and imported. On the weekends they have live music, very easy on the ear. The Dining Room is a step back into last century, in a good way. Always busy so book ahead.
