There is a lot of history, nature and fun to be had at the national seashore. Whatever you come for, plan the day around your visit. Walk, sunbathe or just enjoy!

The place itself is well done, very scenic, and layed out well. The restaurant is fine looking as well. The only problem I had with the place is the thug-like patrons. Not enough White People, and too many non-whites. Unfortunately they can't do very much about this. I don't know if I will go back.

Okay, I get it. If you want to get to CT from middle Long Island, then this is the way to go. The Orient Point Ferry takes you to New London, which is much further North and Bridgeport.
And I guess you could award it "Excellence" because it always stays on top of the water. But, the ferries are dated inside, uncomfortable seats, smelly rest rooms, VERY unhealthy food, liquor, wine and beer (not the best idea for people who are driving)and the worse part NO INTERNET. I mean, come on, how hard would it be to provide WiFi on these boats? So, Yeah, I will continue to use it because I have no choice. And perhaps the issues I described above will remain because the Steamboat Company knows there is no competition. So why bother?

Come to learn or enjoy the scenery or both. This is great for kids and older folks who just want to walk in a safe, natural setting.

The Beer Fest at the Pennysaver Amphitheater was a great event. The beer tasting was very varied and plentiful. The music was fun and danceable. The food was sufficient to keep you going for the 3 hours of Beer Tasting.

Voted as Long Island's #1 Best Miniature Golf 6 of the last 8 years. Our course is very large and has several gushing waterfalls, meandering streams, caves and a canyon area. Our Go-karts are fast and thrilling. Tiki has 55 arcade games in an updated arcade with some of the newest games to go along with the classics like Skeeball. We have an ice cream bar, light snacks, and indoor bamboo lined lounge and outdoor picnic area that seats 200+. Tropical music fills the air so you will feel like you're on vacation.
We really liked this mini golf course. It was mostly in the shade which is perfect for a hot day. the course scenery is set up really nice, with waterfalls and caves. The course was the perfect challenge, not over the top difficult but not super easy. We look forward to going back over the summer. They also had go carts and a mini arcade which looked like a lot of fun. we will try it all next time when we have more free time. recommend going for a nice day out with family and friends.

Wouldn't go anywhere else to see a movie. Buy tickets in advance online due to smaller theaters shows will sell out. Always is crowded so parking may be an issue get there early because there is usually a line for snacks.

Do you have what it takes to Escape the Room in 60 minutes?!
Our family of four just escaped the Hidden Temple Room! What a fantastic time we had. The room was challenging, but not impossible. Our GameMaster Brandon was helpful and enthusiastic. He really made our day special. Also, Zach was super friendly when booking. Can't wait to go back and try another room. Thanks guys!

This delightful museum keeps growing and growing, due to the donations of many benefactors. The carriage Museum has an extensive three level exhibit of carriages from the 18th century to the early 20th century. There are quite a few buildings on the grounds, including an old schoolhouse, an old cemetery, trees with crocheted decorations and an art museum. The art museum houses temporary collections, and at this time there was a Judith Lieber exhibit. A docent was available to explain the history of the pocketbooks and of her husband's paintings. Outside the carriage house is a lovely garden, and during the summer there are dramatic performances.
