My mother and I who have an interest in local history and antiques had a private tour of the estate by the lovely Jerry. He entertained us with funny side notes and details and proved very knowledgeable of the estate and it’s residents. We really enjoyed the tour and the beauty of the old summer home of these prominent people in our rich Long Island history. A must-do for anyone who enjoys local history and wine! The vineyard behind the museum is lovely. You can even visit the grave of the Roosevelt’s family horse!
