One of the oldest lighthouses on the Great Lakes, it towers 65 feet into the air.
This is such a beautiful, peaceful place to visit. Plenty of benches and tables to rest. I got to meet a gentleman that was painting the sign. Really nice guy. Keep up the good work.

This stretch of shoreline comprises a diversity of habitats that sustain a number of plant and animal communities. Over 300 species of birds visit the preserve, and in the springtime, expect a carpet of wildflowers.
We have visited Sheldon Marsh on several occasions - each time we stay at Sawmill Creek Lodge. When our daughters were younger they always enjoyed the nature walk with us as a family. On our latest visit, we noticed a significant amount of area has dried up but it's still a nice walk and a great way to get in touch with nature (I'm an old Eagle Scout who still enjoys the outdoors!). Definitely worth checking out when you are in the Huron area!

This place was fantastic, especially if you like old time carousels. There are lots of old carousel horses and other animals. Tour was very informative and a ride on the carousel brought back many childhood memories. The Museum is in the old Sandusky Post Office Building adding to the allure of the attraction.

For more than 140 years, Lakeside Chautauqua has welcomed families to the Lake Erie shore to take part in a summer Chautauqua experience dedicated to nurturing mind, body and spirit. Lakeside Chautauqua is an historic community in Ohio that offers an abundance of spiritual opportunities, educational lectures, cultural arts performances and recreational activities during its 10-week summer programming season. It is also a year-round destination for groups of all sizes.
While Lakeside is a great spot for families, with lots of kid activities, it's also great for grown-ups who need a break. I look so forward to sunset strolls, lots of reading on the pier or the porch, and the slower Lakeside pace. This year a new dining spot made the trip even better -- don't miss the Bluebird Cafe.

More than just an amusement park, Cedar Point features hotels, restaurants, beautiful grounds along with an impressive variety of thrill-rides.
I just read your new ticket prices for adults are $72..... This is very expensive and disappointing. I’m hoping you will reconsider those prices, as every year they seem to go up and up and up..... The lines are too long to pay that much.

We visited the site by boat. It is remarkable it is still well maintained. It is between two homes on Johnson Island sand I am sure the ghosts are enjoying the beautiful view.

Multi Attraction Family Entertainment Center. Featured on The Travel Channel's "Best Places I've Ever Been." Experience the scariest haunted house you will ever encounter, ride the fastest virtual roller coaster in Ohio, experience a one-of-a-kind interactive 3D blacklight mini golf journey, bounce houses, an indoor play area or get your heart pumping some more with a whirl around the skating rink. Special Events in October (Lake Eerie Fear Fest) December (Winter Wonderland Walk Through) and in September (Lake Eerie Zombie Mud Run).
This place is an awesome little gem! The prices for activities were affordable, and they have something for just about all ages. Our teenage son and his friend LOVED the haunted house. The play area was great for our 6 year old. We went early in the afternoon, so there were only a few other people. It was nice to practically have the place to ourselves. They have a great skating area and offer skate rental and scooter rental, which was cool. They also have a concession area and ample seating. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other activities, such as the 3D movie or laser maze.

The kids had a lot of fun. The park was clean. It was crowded, but school was out so it's expected. Lots of variety in slides, my kid's favorite was the cheetah racers. The line moved quick, and apparently it wasn't other people's favorite bc it was always the shortest line.

Went for Halloweeekend. Had a great time, especially enjoyed the hour early entrance to park with hotel pkg. Best roller coaster park we've ever been to. Missed out on the Maverik as it broke down several times throughout the day, but made due with the others. The Halloween portion that took place after 6pm was hectic. Lines for the extra activities were not dealt with well, lines were overlapping and you didn't know which line you were in. Restaurants seemed to be manned by volunteers, we ordered food, waiting 20 minutes to be told they ran out of hamburgers. This caused quite a ruckus amongst several people waiting. This was not dealt with in a timely or professional manner.

If youve ever wanted to become a Lake Eerie wingwatcher, the Osborn Recreation Area is a good place to begin. Youll likely catch sight of a songbird, a yellowthroated warbler, and if youre lucky, a great horned owl.
Great public addition to the community! Soccer fields for kids. Shelter for picnics. Excellent place to walk or run for exercise! The back side has an off leash dog park.
