Love this olive oil (organic) and were in the area and toured the farm. Great experience to learn how olive oil makes it to our shelf in an organic manner as well spending time on the porch of of the owner's house tasting and learning about the history of the region. Highly recommend, esp. if you enjoy farm-to-table type of experiences.

Bon Niche Cellars

Call, text, or book your tasting online. We'd love to share our award-winning wines with you! Sitting on a beautiful 10 acres, only 12 miles east of Paso Robles, Bon Niche Cellars has 7 acres of vineyards, producing Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. This Veteran/Women-Owned Winery is “off the beaten path” and highlights locally-grown grapes, incredible wine country views, and a relaxed atmosphere. Our wine selections include Bordeaux-style single varietals and blends, as well as Chardonnay, Syrah, and a Dessert Wine.

We loved this winery. It's in a rural part of northeast Paso, - a bit different from the fancier and more expensive places on the west side. The proprietor is Melani Harding, who took the time to chat with us - and of course serve her wines to us. The area is very wide open and quiet - and her wines are very very good. I'm looking forward to her wine club shipments.

Mission San Miguel Arcangel

This mission was founded among the Salinas Indians, who inhabited the area in the 1700's.

I had actually gone to see the San Miguel Cemetery, but realized that right across the highway there was more of the town of San Miguel. This was a beautiful mission and it was a great place for taking photos. You are free to wander arouond on your own, but they do have self-guided tours, as well as paid tours. There are brick ovens, an olive press, old wagons, a fountain and plenty of beautiful arches. They also have a nice gift shop. I actually made some purchases there. It was a gorgeous day when i went and the blue, California skies made a great backdrop for my photos.

Graveyard Vineyards

Rob & Paula, bonded as a winery in '04, started with 184 cases of estate wine in '07. "We started out offering wine tastings on the front porch of our house & if the weather was bad we'd invite guests in the kitchen & drink the wine", according to Paula. After their boys were done with 4H projects, they tore down the barn & built the winery. Up the hill from the 150 yr. Old graveyard, you'll find our cozy barn style tasting room which bodes a grand fireplace & outdoor seating area with spectacular views! Rob still has his "day job" & you'll find Paula at the tasting room. From the 1st year, our wines have received Platinum, 4 STAR Gold, Gold, Chairman's Awards & many 90+ scores. Our winemaker, Jason Bushong has consistently produced crowd pleasing wines. Because of that we have grown by word of mouth & still continue to do so now. Our Skeleton Key Wine Club is growing quickly & we do many fun events for the club members & general public. Come "Drink in Peace" with us!

I am not exaggerating when I say that Graveyard Vineyards is our favorite winery on the planet! We are fortunate enough to have been wine tasting on 5 of the 7 continents, and Graveyard is the most enchanting without a doubt. In case you are wondering, the name Graveyard is derived from the small, historic graveyard at the bottom of the hill. The tasting room itself is homey and comfortable, complete with a large fireplace and two of the sweetest labs you’ll ever meet. However, it is the beauty and serenity of the surrounding area that sets Graveyard far apart from the others. There is a drop-dead gorgeous (no pun intended given the winery’s name…) pond, and the wildlife is always present and plentiful. The entire surrounding area would do justice to the cover of Travel and Leisure. It’s THAT beautiful! The wine itself is absolutely divine, and we enjoy the house Tombstone Red and Tombstone White equally. They are both so good that we literally have to at times flip a coin to see which bottle to savor on that visit. If you relish wildlife, appreciate natural beauty, savor great wine, and enjoy the person or people you are with, do yourself a favor and visit this absolute gem!

We went with another couple to visit this beautiful winery. Enjoyed a delicious and meticulously prepared lunch by Chef Yavanna with paired wines. Oh my goodness! Everything that was prepared from the Creme of Mushroom soup to the Duck Confit lasagna with side greens lightly tossed with a lovely dressing to the sorbet made with cabernet sauvignon and berries was an absolute delight!

Locatelli Vineyards & Winery

Currently on our wine list, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Melodia (Zin/Petite Sirah blend), Petite Sirah, Chardonnay, Muscat Canelli and many more. We're located only two miles from HWY 101 in beautiful Paso Robles Wine Country, in the heart of the Central Coast of California.

Our RV Campground host recommended Locatelli as a small, intimate winery and we were wonderfully surprised. We were the only customers on a Friday afternoon and Wiley gave us his undivided attention. He clearly loves wine making and talking about it!! We tasted, then he offered to give us a tour of the wine making facility which was very interesting. He is passionate about his craft! All their wines were excellent and their Wild blend was awesome and reasonably priced. We bought several bottles and wish we had bought more! Off the beaten track but worth the drive.

Four Sisters Ranch Vineyards & Winery

Four Sisters Ranch Vineyards and Winery, located in the northern Paso Robles AVA, have been family-owned and operated since 1989. For many years, we focused on growing quality grapes in Paso Robles and then finally opened our own tasting room, winery, and event center in the Spring of 2015! We are thrilled to expand our operation to this breathtaking hilltop location, surrounded by hundreds of vineyard acres and hills. It's the perfect spot to relax, take in the sunset, and sip and savor our award-winning wines. We hope to see you soon! We focus on hand-crafted, limited-edition varietals and blends in our tasting room. From award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Merlot, and Malbec, to our Méthode Champenoise California Sparkling Wines and new limited-release blends including Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, and Grenache! To allow you to better enjoy our gorgeous picnic areas and expansive views, we also have a number of food items for sale, including fresh cheeses, local salami, nuts, crackers, and other snack items, including non-alcoholic beverages. Stop by and stay a while! Touring & Tasting Magazine just named us one of the "MOST SCENIC SETTINGS" in Paso Robles - and we couldn't agree more, but then again we are pretty biased!
