The Bellevue Botanical Garden is an urban refuge, encompassing 53-acres of cultivated gardens, restored woodlands, and natural wetlands. The living collections showcase plants that thrive in the Pacific Northwest. Our demonstration of good garden design and horticulture techniques inspire visitors to create their own beautiful, healthy gardens. We provide a place of beauty, serenity, and learning for thousands of visitors each year. There are also many fun things to do throughout the seasons: plant sales, community celebrations, summer concerts, art exhibits and holiday light festivities.
Gorgeous park (though quite small) with a variety of plants and flowers. Especially pretty during the summer time and during the winter, when they do "Garden De'Lights". It's a Christmas light installation. Gorgeous!

Suburban park with more than 550 acres of land for biking, rock climbing, playing tennis and picnicking.
I have been to Marymoor many times, and I think that is great that they used this land for parks, instead of commercial, or private homes. The summer concerts were always nice, but have not been to a Jazz deal there for a few years, as I have not heard of anything like that happening there anymore.

Remlinger Farms is great for a family outing. We took our grand daughters out there for some summer fun. There are many activities for a family and this is a place that allows you to enjoy some basic things like a train ride or a roller coaster. Farm animals and a good restaurant.

I frequent the Village theater for at least 2 shows per year. The productions are first class. I used to live in Manhattan and also upstate New York. I have seen many Broadway shows. I can tell you, the productions I have seen at the Village Theater equal those I have seen on Broadway. I have seen the following shows at the Village Theater: "Dream Girls", "Billy Elliott", Les Misirables", "Chicago" and "Aida" with music by Elton John, among others. The seating is comfortable and there is a restaurant connected to the theater (Finn's), It is nice to have dinner before the show with quick access to the theater. There are also other fine restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this theater.

Living in a city I often visit Soaring Eagle to find solitude. It is a protected forest with a main path that is smooth enough for wheelchairs and easy walking. For the more adventurous there are many interconnecting side trails for walking or mountain biking. Once there the city noise disappears and you are left with the sound of birds and frogs with light filtering through the trees. There is parking at both ends of the main trail which runs through the park. There are benches for resting. My grandson had a great time watching small insects and looking for nature's treasures.
You can appreciate the park in as little as 30 minutes, though it is big enough to spend a few hours walking its various trails.

This park has something for everyone, from bikers to hikers and to fishermen.
A beautiful beach with large picnic areas and trails that allow people of all ages to have a place to explore, relax and take in the beauty of this park. There are no direct shaded areas so if its a super sunny day bring a large umbrella to take breaks under!
Tip: You will need a state park pass!

This is a great park on, especially on a clear day. There are nice loops for a leisurely stroll or to burn some calories. A great play ground is there and if you have elderly or handicapped folks want to just take a short walk its perfect, no hills or gravel to navigate.

This is a really nice and very large county park. It is well off the beaten path in Carnation, but not so far off the grid that you aren't near useful resources. Not more than 3 blocks away is a small shopping center with a few small cafes, a Starbucks and a grocery store. Picnicking as an out-of-towner is easy with food so close by. The park is beautiful and very secluded and very large. There is plenty of parking and lots of space to roam, along with a number of very long walking/running/biking pathways.

My Granddaughters always make us take them to that "beautiful park" whenever they visit. It's very close to our home and there's plant of things for the girls to do.I especially like the little trails and the distance from the parking lot (so I don;t worry about them being near traffic). Being more of a "neighborhood" park there is often a nice diversity of families there. My girls have met kids from a number of different culture and backgrounds. It's fun to watch them interact. I love this place.

Plenty of animal talks. Clear views but obstructed camera shots. The highlight are the tigers but check out the large collection of Parrots, Maccaws and the like. Staff are friendly and interact with you.mits a great zoo for kids who get the opportunity to feed the emus, mule deer, llamas and tigers (just kidding about kids feeding the tigers.)
