Since 1983 our relaxed and friendly dive shop has been conveniently located right on Sabang Beach in Puerto Galera, Philippines. Within a 10 minute boat ride you can enjoy a wide range of scuba diving experiences; from exploring wrecks and leisurely drift dives in shallow bays, to challenging depth and exciting current dives.We dive only in small Groups and are happy to cater for individual needs and wishes.

We travelled with a group of 13, half of which were divers, some beginners and others very experienced, and the rest of us just wanting to do some snorkelling. We enjoyed the first trip so much we ended up doing three trips. Staff were super friendly and we really enjoyed the hospitality shown to our group.

++white beach, clear water, less tourists ++best for swimming, gathering, or relaxing -no cottage/hotel for overnight stay, only huts for day visit -no restaurant or establishment, only a small store to buy drinks and chips

Professionally run spa, with qualified massage personnel. Simple layout with shared rooms, partitioned by curtains, low lighting and soothing music to aid relaxation. Went to galera w my son and stayed in bamboo beach in talipanan..
The place s quite and far from the busy place.. Unlike white beach which is crowded.. Here its quite and u can really relax and unwind..
This is not white sand ..but theres pebbles n the shore..my son enjoyed collecting diff colors of stones..
We stayed here bfore the typhoon nina hitted galera ( one day bfore - thats dec 24 ) till 27th .as we got stranded...
Going here..u hve to go muelle
Then choose the resort u gonna stay ..they hve free shuttle ( bamboo beach resort ) if u took galeon shipping .

Spent 5 days diving with the guys at Searider with my 13 year old son in Aug 15. I cannot fault the professionalism of the dive masters, the equipment was first rate and the price was amazingly low. We even got a chance to take our first ever night dive; my son was very nervous but their attitude put him at ease and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever. Can't wait to go back to Sabang in August this year and will ensure my first stop will be at Searider.

This is one of my greatest moment when we visited the Tukuran Waterfalls. You need a buffalo ride and cross about 6 rivers to get to that small fall. Ms.Buffy whom I called the water buffalo has done a great job getting us there especially she is pregnant. But the trip is quite rewarding when you get at the end of it. I did not bring any bathers on but I have to try the nice water that runs fast from the falls. Really a great adventure..!

The VSB is my local bar whilst living in PI. Its open from early morning to early morning .It is a family owned/run business with the most accomodating friendly staff. They have a huge selection of drinks, local & worldwide, all at excellent prices, with extended Happy Hours. If they don't have your tipple they will import it especially for you. The food selection & quality is exceptional, again all tastes catered for. The live bands are some of the most entertaining i have seen in PI & love to take all your requests & ewill have you dancing. If your a sports fan, then your in your element. They have a supurb pool table & often run friendly compitions. The VSB shows ALL UK premiership games, & all other sports from ALL over the world. The clientel again are from all nations, which makes every evening different & interesting.. I take my Family including my young daughters to play pool eat & just enjoy the experience of a very friendly lively bar. The location is central Sabang so its the hub to watch everyone going about there business. To sum up. The VSB has everything, You have feeling of the friendlyness & great service of the Philippines & being in your own local . It really is the place to be. I can only give 100% recommendation !

All of the staff were very friendly and helped us with anything we needed. The diving equipment is top notch and the instructors know these incredibly diverse sites like their own pockets. The room was clean and fresh and tidied daily. We were very happy there and will definetely choose Mermaid again for our next visit. Special thanks to Anthony, Torben and Jinky!

We had a very nice motorbike ride to this waterfall, the falls are beautiful. The restaurant was very good but the tables smelled bad, probably washed with a stagnant smelly cloth. The steps down to the second falls were built for giants, and the handrails were questionable with unfinished welds. The falls are very nice but the construction of the infrastructure was poorly managed. Be careful.

We've been going to Sabang for years now, but this is our first time to stay at Red Sun. Unfortunately we had a problem with our precious booking with another resort. We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days. The room is simple, clean, with tv, ac, telephone, small safe and with balcony. The room lacks a cabinet in which you can arrange your clothes in and other possessions. So most of our things are on the floor which is a big inconvenience specially when you have clothes, dive gears, underwater cam gadgets lying around.
My biggest problem with the design of the room is the lack of noise proofing. you can hear people walking around the hallway, you can hear the opening and closing of doors. Most guests bang their doors when closing them. It was really annoying specially at night when you're sooo tired and just wants to relax. Also you can hear the people from downstairs.
We were'nt able to taste the food served at their restaurant as it is located on the 6th floor. Too tired to go up and down the stairs with the lack of sleep and busy dive schedules. We opted for Full moon for our meals, which is located beside the resort, a restaurant we're familiar with throughout the years. Quite expensive but definitely delicious food.
Overall compared to the other resorts we've stayed in Sabang, this has one of the nicest view from the balcony of the room. Would not come back again if we have other options because of the noise.
