My kids love it there. They always ask to go. So many fun things to do. They love going through the "city" and stopping at the lights in the street. Good design.

RR has built a great collection of public facilities and the Library is one of them...appears to have a good collection but not remarkable...probably could have a more aggressive events program...most regional libraries host movies (from their collection) for kids, families and seniors...not here but would be nice

Old Settlers Park

My wife and I were visiting Round Rock this past weekend and made aware of the play ground equipment in Old Settlers Park next to the Delll Diamond baseball complex. Awesome playground equipment! We took our 3.5 year old grandson there and spent a good hour. Appears to be fairly new equipment and has a little bit for all ages.

Excellent playground area and well thought out for entertaining the kids at this playground.

Excellent time with our grandson and he had a great time as well! Highly recommend!

St. William Catholic Church

I really like this church because they really care about people. The pastor can often be found shaking hands with over 1000 people on Saturday night or Sunday as people enter before mass. They teen program is so popular that kids from all they city come and they get about 350 teenagers every week to come. This church understands how to minister to all types of people regardless of age, race, or gender. This parish also has perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament!!!

I am very sorry to hear that one or two of the other reviewers did not have a great experience. Sometimes that can happen with over 7000 families. However, I would invite them to come back! I will pray for those of you who left the Faith.

Memorial Park

This is a neat little park. Despite being under I35 it is fairly quiet and there is an abundance of little wildlife critters hanging out.

There is a nice playground, well maintained walking paths and the river gives it a really nice feeling. The vast majority of the park is shaded, which to me is a big plus!

It was need to walk on the rocks on the one end of the river. You can see the wagon tracks. Also on that end of the park is the "round rock" that the town is named for.

There were many people swimming also.

I recommend this as a nice stop to make if you need a break from all the hustle bustle!

Rock'n River Family Aquatic Center

Reviewed By Kelly E - Dane, Wisconsin

This was a nice place to cool down. Reasonable price to get in and for beverages & snacks. The large umbrellas for shade are very nice. The Park seemed well taken care of and clean. It was great being able to carry-in our own cooler with water and snacks.

The only frustration we had was the workers at the "Quarry" section of the park. They were goofing around (jump up & down and doing karate chops at each other) on the top platform and chit-chatting with each other while a long line of people were waiting at the bottom of the stairs to go down the slide or jump off the platform. It took many minutes in between each person. At one point one of the workers jumped off the platform into the water, got out of the water, walked past the people in line and up the stairs, goofed around with the other worker, then jumped in the water again. For over 15 minutes no people who paid to get in were allowed to go down the slide because of the workers horseplay.

Kawaii's

Reviewed By Kristin P - Round Rock, Texas

Taking a trip to Kawaii's has become one of our Sunday activities. It's great after rollerskating in the rink or swimming in your pool, although it is a little pricy. Also, there can be lots of bees coming in during the day, AND their sizes are EXTREMELY big. That being said, although the high prices, big sizes, and bees can get in your way, Kawaii's has probably the biggest and best variety of flavors I've ever seen, so if it's a hot day in Round Rock, take a stroll on down to Kawaii's quality shaved ice!
