Home of the most THRILLING ZipLine in the Pacific Northwest and the Zip, Dip, & Sip Tour. Rogue Valley ZipLine Adventure is nestled in the historic gold mining hills of beautiful Southern Oregon. Our Company provides guided zipline tours ran by certified guides on our progressive 5-line course. With many spectacular views including: Crater Lake Rim, Mt. McLoughlin and Table Rocks. The park has over 2700 feet of zipline and is ADA friendly (please contact management for ADA accommodations).
I took my two God kids to RVZL. This was not my choice. The five lines are your typical lines: a slight hike (some might find strenuous) to the line the a ride through the trees. This group offers zip lining for all handicapable individuals where other lines do not. It also offers one of the longest lines in the area. This line gives you time to really enjoy the ride and look around. What they don't offer is the opportunity to really learn to zip. You just ride. You do not stop yourself. There are only five lines where other zipling groups in the area offer 10 to twelve lines plus a tarzan swing. There is no where for a non rider to enjoy the experience and follow along and watch or video the experience. And because it's on private property, you have to be shuttled in. This means you are subject to waiting for your entire tour group to be ready to leave before you can leave. If others in the group want to buy items from the meager store, or look through the ghost town style saloon, you have no choice but to stay as well. Zip lining is always fun for me and the kids in any form. The guides were wonderful, Sara and Steve on the day we went. But I have been to better zip line places. However if you are looking for somewhere quick and really close buy to the valley, I would recommend RVZL.

We invite you to join us in the historic tasting room located in the heart of Rogue Valley wine country. Once home to the Rock Point hotel, originally built in 1864, the tasting room provides for a rustic and warm atmosphere while sipping wine. The facilities include a great outdoor location for a family picnic with a wonderful view of the vineyard. Join us any day of the week from 11am to 5pm. We look forward to seeing you and sharing the story behind the wine.
We had a really nice visit here. We were looking for a winery that served lunch and after requiring and establishing that Del Rio did not, I asked if they would mind if we bought a small picnic. Go right ahead was the reply. We picked up some cheeses, breads and meats and headed for Del Rio. The tasting room was spacious, inviting and the staff very friendly and accommodating. There were lots of picnic tables available outside, so we purchased a bottle of their merlot and got comfy on the verandah, in the sun. The view of the mountains and fall colors was lovely and we received lots of compliments on our "little wine picnic on the verandah". We had a fabulous time and I would recommend doing the same when you visit. Highly recommend Del Rio Winery.

This is a fully operational glass blowing shop, where you can get up close and even try your hand at blowing molten 2000 degree glass. The artisans are usually working producing all kinds of glass art from vases, bowls to paperweights and sculptural pieces. Come browse the gift shop, or just stay and visit. It does get warm so can be very nice in the winter!
I have seen glass blowers at work years ago, but I never before saw glass forgers. These master craftsmen/artists are just incredible. I took my four grandchildren, and we got to get up close and talk to the artist as he worked. Then he invited us to come into his work area to "see the dragon," inside the 2,000 degree F. furnace. The artist explained everything he was doing. It was just an awesome experience. I look forward to taking my husband with me on my next trip to The Glass Forge. This is a MUST SEE stop in Grants Pass.

Amazing find...want fresh...local... and full of flavor and options to make your burrito and taco day? Go here... The family run business is all of the above. Our experience was the top. Thank you for offering suggestions from sauces to meats... Happy, healthy and satisfied...

The historic covered bridge has been moved so it could be preserved and a larger road could go through that area(this was about 10 years ago). It is a neat spot to take some great nature pics or eat lunch with the family. A must visit if you are in the area.

Funhouse where visitors can shrink, grow and stand at weird angles without falling over.
I just didn't get it. When the tour guide told us our molecules were rearranging themselves, I wasn't able to suspend reality to go with it. I thought it would be fun & hokey. I just thought it was hokey. I think you have to be able to be less skeptical! Not for me...

Had a fun time with friends touring the beautiful southern Oregon wine country with Jim and Glen on Wine Hopper. Jim was the host, Glen the driver, and they were both engaging, entertaining, and informative. The transport was great, the food they provided was well chosen, and the vineyards outstanding. It was a fun time and I highly recommend Wine Hopper

Riverside Park is a must visit. Bring good walking shoes, a camera and your sense of adventure. There is a very nice children's play area. Plenty of seats covered and uncovered for a picnic. The river's edge is a landing place for all kinds of birds. Children enjoy sitting on the edge and fishing or just watching the birds.

A family owned and operated winery, Schmidt Family Vineyards provides award winning wines and incredible scenery to its visitors. Stroll through the beautiful grounds after enjoying a pizza straight from the wood-fired pizza oven or any other food option from the lite menu. Family friendly and dog friendly (dogs must remain outdoors). Open daily from 12-5pm and during summer months open late (8pm) on Friday nights with live music.
We stopped in for lunch while touring wineries with friends. Their lunch menu was limited but interesting. I would say the food was just average but still enjoyable and filling. I bought a bottle of their radiance blend, a dry red wine, which I really...MoreWe are glad you enjoyed your time! Thank you for the feedback on the food. We are always working to improve!

Surrounded by the dramatic, lush green splendor of the Siskiyou mountains, Troon Vineyard is located in one of the most beautiful wine regions anywhere, the Applegate Valley. What you'll find at our Applegate Valley winery tasting room are wines as compelling as the views. Our Troon tasting room team could not be more friendly and passionate about our wines and sharing them with you is their pleasure. Surrounding our tasting room our beautiful lawn and gardens are perfect for picnics or just sipping a glass of our wine as you soak in the natural beauty of the Applegate Valley. We are centrally located between Grants Pass, Medford and Jacksonville and just a half-hour drive from I 5. It would be hard to imagine a more perfect day than packing a picnic and visiting Troon and our neighboring wineries in the Applegate Valley. Our vineyards are all LIVE and Salmon Safe certified and we are now beginning our quest to become biodynamic certified.
The tasting room here (and moreso the patio area) are really nice. Unfortunately, the tasting kinda sucked.
You're limited to either Red or White, without any option to pick from a list of multiple wines. And they didn't offer us an option to have the tasting outside, so we stood at the bar for all of the wines, then went outside after.
Generally, we were disappointed with the wines as well (none were good enough to warrant buying even a glass). We had a much better experience up the road at Schmidt
