Come experience the highly rated and acclaimed escape room in Montgomery County, Maryland! Perfect for birthdays, corporate team building, family bonding events, or even just a gathering of friends.
Great experience!! Our kids range from 15 - 18 and they all enjoyed Prison Break. The guide, Usama, was very engaged and did a terrific job of helping the group with hints and encouragement. All of the kids in our group have done escape rooms elsewhere but they all felt like this was the best one. Totally worth it!

In winter it's not much. Wait until spring when the flowers are blooming, and the activities are on the rise. Be sure to check out the mansion and pick up a list from the theater for shows throughout the year.

Rock Creek has paved hiker/biker trails that run from DC up to Rockville and around Lake Needwood. If you're looking for somewhere green to bike, walk, or run for exercise it's a good choice. The trail is a greenway and for the most part there are some trees between the trail and the roads. For hiking though, I'd recommend somewhere more scenic like Great Falls. Stay to the right if you're on foot to be sure the bicycles can pass easily.

A really nice park and lake in the middle of a densely populated suburban area. I love Lake Needwood and the surrounding area. Fishing is so-so, but the area is beautiful.

Out of Towners might not realize this Nature Center is tucked in behind the Glenview Mansion grounds. The "mini zoo" and displays are in a relaxing setting and are an excellent way for natives and weary tourist to unwind.

Meadowside is one of my kids’ favorite places to go! There are several hiking trails that are easy enough for children, a fun, themed outdoor play area, an indoor crawl-through cave, indoor play areas, and several species of animals to look at. Our favorites are the birds of prey that are cared for at Meadowside. We’ve been able to visit during feeding time and enrichment time several times now and the keepers do a great job explaining what they’re doing and engaging the audience. There’s so much to do here and it’s a beautiful spot to just take in nature.

Home of the First Bourbon in Maryland.
A working distillery in Montgomery County, making bourbon, rye, whiskey and more! Tasting area is very nice and the staff are helpful. They source their grains from this area too! Support local businesses.
