Had time to kill before a flight so thought I would do lunch and a movie. The concept rocks - but like most things it will be the people that ruin it. Didn’t open the theater on time. I was second person in, but because my seat was in the last row I was the last to be asked for my order and oh by the way the kitchen is behind 35-40 minutes. When I expressed my concern the staff then treated me like I was the problem. The last straw was when they guy delivered my popcorn and just plopped it on the table and walked away. I won’t be back.

Thunder Valley is one of the largest casinos in California, certainly one of the busiest. My wife and I are an Asian couple and its very hard to find someone who is Asian in this Casino. When you ask for a Casino Host to help you find your wife, they reply they can't.
My wife is 5 ft . 3inches tall and this fits so many people in the Casino. I realize they were extremely busy during this period. I looked all over, outside and inside and finally told a Casino Supervisor this is now an emergency, I need help finding my wife, she replied she would help me.
This all started when I went to the ATM machine and couldn't find my way back to my wife. I have medical problems and cannot walk too long, etc. A supervisor finally helped me locate my wife. I hope in the future, there will be an easier way to find someone who is playing slots at Thunder Valley. I was so tired of walking around looking for my wife that after resting a few minutes, we went home. l didn't even use the money that I took out of the ATM to gamble. We generally have a great time gambling.

The Trove has been an institution in Roseville for a number of years, and it's always an interesting place to wander around. It doesn't have exclusively true antiques any more, it's more collectibles, and much of what's offered appears to have been rounded up at yard sales. That doesn't mean it's junk, but the vast majority of what's on offer is not rare or really old. The items that I personally collect (American Art Pottery and various US produced glass) are difficult to find here anymore, and if they do appear they're usually overpriced by quite a bit. I sure wouldn't say this is a bargain hunter's paradise, but there are some unusual things including in the outdoor area where good buys can be found on old lawn furniture and larger items like fence gates and trellis and lawn furniture made of metal. Our last purchase here was a white metal lawn chair that weighs about 100 lbs. and still graces the entry patio at our home. If you want to kill a little time this is a good place to do it.

Spent a Sunday afternoon enjoying Rock Hill's Winery food and wine pairing event. Don, the Owner hosts the event and his wife prepares the small plate wine pairings. It was a nice couple of hours enjoying friends and learning about a local winery.

Even on our own, we would enjoy Strikes. A nice, clean, safe place for families and kids. We were invited by the "kids" for this afternoon entertainment. Love the option of the bumpers coming up to give the younger ones confidence and allowing for the ball to make it to mow down some of those pins. Actually, not shabby for an adult who needs the confidence builder either!. No outside food is allowed, which is understandable but unfortunate, because their food left a lot to be desired....
Overall, a great couple of hours of family fun for all age groups.

I've golfed here three times now, and each time it has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. They are set up as a part club and part public club, where the club members get a few more perks, but the best part is being able to play the challenging course for everyone, member or not!
Lots of regulated wetlands through here, and many balls are lost because if you hit one in there, you cannot go get it. The signs inform you well in advance not to do so. It is part of their operating permit. Just do a drop and go on.
The bar and grill is one of the best parts of the facility. After a hot sweaty 'workout' on the course, an ice cold brew and food is waiting.

Very child friendly, very educational! The docent, Lilly, short black hair! I tell her I of Oakland, she shows me California map! Her tribe, MAIDU, there also Nissenan, are of Rose Ville, Folsom, Auburn areas! For my area was Coastanago Indians, however all friendly with each as they trade!
There alive animals, not caged, not stuffed animal heads! The other person points out tree two brown birds chasing a squirrel! They probably have chicks in the nest, protecting the nest!
There all kind petroglyphs! Wow!
I recommend this place to anyone! TIGER from OAKLAND thanks MARLIN FISH from Sacramento hotel taking me here!

We have finally found a place to call home for our winery's tasting room. We are opening in Loomis on Taylor Rd. Saturday, March 11th. After much strife with the regulations of ADA and the Town of Loomis, we've finally been given the A-OK to open. 3565 Taylor Rd., Suite A Loomis, CA 95650 Our winemaker creates wine from the Napa Valley, Lodi and Sierra Foothills region of Placer County. Our winery tasting room is located in close proximity to Auburn, Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Loomis, Wheatland, Marysville, Newcastle and Sacramento. Come visit our tasting room and taste our hand-crafted wines made by winemaker Marshall Davis. His wines have been recognized nationally and internationally and have been awarded at various commercial winery competitions. We like to say, "Our hands touch every grape on their way to the bottle."
We travel everywhere and always wine taste wherever we go.But it's funny how we have not gone wine tasting in our own home town, Loomis. Last week we were viewing a parade on the main street when we noticed Davis Dean Cellars tasting room across from where we were sitting. After the parade we gave it a try and are glad we did. The owner-wine maker was our server, he was pleasant, informative, generous and fun to visit with. He was serving five wines; two Chards, two Zins and a Petite Sarah. We found the wines to all be very good. All the wines are smooth and easy to drink and develop interesting flavors. The two Chards and two Zins were each different from it's sister. The tasting room is well appointed and furnished and very comfortable. Since he sells wine by the glass, next time I think we will just come and hang out and have a couple glasses of wine. This venue just adds to the fact Loomis is becoming a great town for folks to visit. This with the refurbished fruit sheds really does contribute to a nice afternoon.
