White Pine Trail is well maintained and well marked. It's the perfect place for a beautiful, scenic run. The trail passes through the city of Rockford, so you could stop for a look at the Dam or a bite to eat.

On the SW side of downtown Rockford, this park and waterfront development is just beautiful. Of course we were there at the best time of year to enjoy all the flowers and folliage on both sides of the cascading Rogue River. There are plenty of benches where you can sit and just enjoy the soothing water sounds, watch the river come over the dam and people-watch. It's really worth taking a few minutes out of the shopping circuit in downtown Rockford to relax and enjoy this beauty...any time of year.

We visited here with family for wine tasting and dinner. The wine was delicious (we bought several bottles) and dinner was very nice.

I specifically came here to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It was a beautiful sunny day during the week. The park was not too busy. There were several families with their children spending quality time on the beach, swimming, and playing on the play equipment. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the fact that there was a large grassy area to sit and relax.
