This is definitely the biggest Mosque in Riyadh and probably most frequented for funeral prayers. It had a parking area and a few shops for charity organizations.

The history of Islam is the major focus of this museum, which consists of 10 galleries, courtyards and a section that houses fancy cars and other belongings of the founding king of Saudi Arabia.
Great musueam with a park and interactive models and displays very good for history of Saudi Arabia and Islamic History in the peninsula.

This renovated 19th-century mud fortress looks like a giant sandcastle, and contains costumes, handicrafts, a sitting room, a courtyard and a well.
Masmak Fort museum is must to see. The Fort is built from clay and mud-brick, it has four watchtowers and thick walls. The fort is lying in the center of the old quarters of Riyadh. Masmak played a major part in the kingdom's history; it gives a nice introduction to the beginnings of the Saudi Arabia. Admission is free. There is a small gift store with handmade native gifts.

Kingdom Tower is the tallest building in Riyadh and has a modern architecture style. The shopping mall below has lots of facilities and cafes to visit. Skybridge is the place up to 99 th floor and you can see Riyadh from above

These ruins of the first capital of Saudi Arabia consist of walls, houses and palaces, some of which have been restored
This is another worth seeing site of Riyadh with traditional mud-brick architecture, colourful Saudi doors, Al Bujairi park, and maze of small alleyways with cafes and craft shops. This is the place of Diriyah Museum, a former palace with exhibits on Saudi history as well as the Al-Zawihra Mosque. Wadi Hanifah valley is lined with date palms and it is a popular spot for picnics, walking, and cycling. I recommend to visit the place in mid afternoon and stay till after the sunset. When it gets dark, the whole area lights up setting an amazing stage for picture taking. If you are lucky, you can see a light show depicting the history of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia’s largest zoo, housing some 40 species of animals, permits either a mother or a father to accompany children but does not allow the whole family to vist together.
Very clean and well spaced out. Animals have plenty of space to live comfortably. Kids really enjoyed the trip. Beautiful and well groomed elephants and giraffes. Would recommend for a family visit. I would definitely visit again.
