We are a married couple that live in Amsterdam with our three kids. We love this city and have lived most of our lives in Amsterdam but also love to travel. We like to find special places or experiences, our selves. We're just not interested in large touristy happenings. And that is what we offer as well. Cozy intermate cruises through the canals of a magical city. Personal anecdotes, historical facts, hotspots, local places etc. on our lovely boat 'Zavi'.

Hi, I'm David and I live behind Dam Square in the center of Amsterdam in a typical cozy Amsterdam apartment. Both my (Indonesian) mother and my (Dutch) father as well as their parents were born and raised in Indonesia. Growing up in my mother's kitchen I developed a passion for Asian cuisine, in particular Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese. In my 3-hour cooking workshops, you'll learn about fundamentals, essential ingredients and specific cooking techniques. Looking forward meeting you! David

The Upside Down Amsterdam is the largest interactive instagram museum in Europe with 1500m2 and 25 rooms and decors.
We had a lot of fun discovering all the different rooms! I also liked that you could take as many photos as you´d liked and that it was for free. We spend around 1.5 hours in here and did not find it that crowded (the time slots is a good solution). Next to that also the pink hamburger was delicious afterwards.
