Well entrenched on the cobbled Church street behind MG road , a coffee at the legendary Koshy's fuels you for the world of Blossom Book house. Three floors of it, arranged by old , new, authors and genre at prices that are U N B E L I E V A B L E in this day and age. I picked up the entire collection of Robert Ludlum including 2 first print hardbound copies...beat that. This is probably the avid readers Mecca.

An iconic and a unique place for those who are on a quest to acquire a priceless treasure. One of the oldest book store in Bangalore, Select Book Shop quietly sits on an offbeat path perpendicular to the bustling Brigade Road. Established in the year 1945 by Mr. Murthy, this bookshop is literally a huge treasure chest containing a plethora of old and rare books collected by Mr. Murthy and his late father over a span of 70 years. As you step into the literary haven, you will find piles of a variety of books spreading across the rooms along with magazines and comic books. The second floor also has a lot of books of different genre teamed up with pretty artwork and old knick knacks here and there. It is interesting to know that Ruskin Bond still remains a regular customer here and often visits this establishment to meet the owner. Mr. Murthy has a lot of interesting and enthralling stories to tell if you are ever interested. A historical landmark that every book lover must visit when in Bangalore.

With the opening of The Collection, UB City in Bangalore, a shopping trip to Europe, which is something that most Indian luxuriates were required to do to prime up their lifestyle, has become irrelevant. The luxury retail market in India, has suddenly taken a radical turn for the better. The city's most famous landmark, UB City - built jointly by Dr. Vijay Mallya & the Prestige Group has seized the opulence of the Indian market in a significant way.

Rejuvenating treatments support the health and well-being of those partaking in the relaxing services of this Bengaluru luxury spa. Therapies focus on maintaining a mental and physical balance while providing an energizing experience
With lots of experience of massage treatments at 5* hotels around the world, I’m recommending the sPa at the JW Marriott in Bangalore. My short 30 minutes with Emily was altogether professional in the hands of an expert. Equally important, great value for service. Especially after a long hard day of work, the sPa at the JWM—with Emily—is a very rewarding experience. P.J.B.

Erstwhile South Parade is Bangalore’s shopping and entertainment hub, along with nearby Brigade Road, Church Street and Commercial Street. Old-timers reminisce fondly about the grand avenue this once was. Many old landmarks have been torn down to make way for characterless glass buildings. The metro running over the road proved to be the proverbial nail in the coffin for MG Road’s beauty. Thankfully, some of the vibe still survives. Walk along and enjoy a few gems that survived the massacre.
Good place to visit .Mahatma Gandhi Road also known as M.G. Road is a road in Bengaluru, India. It runs east from Trinity circle at one end to Anil Kumble circle at the other. Known as South Parade in pre-independence era, it was renamed as Mahatma Gandhi Road on 26 February 1948.
