We had a great time on the Eating Rehoboth tour to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We had been to some of the restaurants before but it was fun meeting the chefs and getting some background on the food and the establishments. The food was delicious! Highly recommend! #iaterehoboth

I walk this trail morning, noon and late evenings in summer, fall, winter and spring and never tire of the endless visual delights the scenery, birds, plant and other animal life offers, In summer, I find the best time to walk is close to dusk, ie, after sunset but before pitch dark. Most others, including those speed bikers, are gone and the marsh and forest is quiet and inviting with soft light and silence.
Winter is always less trafficked and less populated and offers surprises of its own making like gorgeously "severe clear" vistas across grasses beaten down by frost and senescence,
April simply put is my favorite season when birds are migrating and noisy, green sprigs are poking up through the muck and people have not yet populated the trails with conveyances such as bicycles, baby carriages and other self powered vehicles. Listening to all the sounds of spring awakening from a deep winter chill is in itself enough reason to walk here at anytime in April. Plus, days are warmer, longer and hold the promise of yet another torridly busy beach season.
Summer, except after sunset and before dark, is the time I least walk the Gordon's Pond Trail as I am swimming at Lewes Beach on my back watching the sunset! Oh la la an experience not to be missed!
Another delightful trail to walk if you are on the Cape Henlopen side of Gordon's Pond, is the Ft Myles Trail from the Nature Center (shorter) or Fishing Pier (longer). Again, best time in Summer is just after sunset but you must walk at a good clip. Otherwise, start 30 min prior to sunset and stroll instead of "force march" your walk.
Happy walking Gordon's Pond Trail. It's a love affair without end!

Our recent vacation in Rehoboth DE, included several rides on this trail. We rode to Lewes on the trail. The trail is a pleasant flat trail thru farm country, Marsh land, residential and paved roadside paths. We often rode the trail past Lewes , & rode back to Rehoboth via the Cape Henlopen Park Bike paths and Gordons Pond Trail. This loop is about 16 miles. There is some parking at the Tanger Outlets, that are near a short path that connects to the trail. I would not recommend parking anywhere else... as merchants and residential are parking is watched closely.
Simply said... this is a great trail. If you like Rails to trails.. this is a good one.

Funland is a family amusement center located on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. A family owned and operated business since 1962, Funland provides family fun at reasonable prices for those who visit us each summer. The park offers great entertainment for the whole family, featuring 19 rides, 14 midway games, a redemption center, Skeeball, and an arcade. Our season begins Mother's Day Weekend and runs through Labor Day. In the early part of our season (May into June), our closing time varies; we reserve the right to close early due to factors such as weather and lack of crowds! Normally in season, July 4th - Labor Day, we close around 11 PM.
I have visited Funland a few times now and just love it. I am impressed with the history, and I love how the park is contained inside mostly but you feel like you are outside. (I have been to several other seaside parks that also do this, but Funland was the first). My favorite thing there is the haunted house, totally unique and scary but fun. I can see why the line gets so long! People know a good thing! During my visits, the haunted house doesn't open until 5 pm, if you are visiting please check the website to verify operating hours. We used tickets since we were only doing a few things, again verify on the website for your individual needs. If I remember correctly, tickets don't expire. Traffic can be tough and parking can seem impossible, we went with friends who knew the area so I can't really help with any information there. Prepare to park and walk, and be sure to heed all parking signs if you want to avoid being ticketed or towed! This is a delightful small park, you don't need all day or night unless they are super busy or you want to ride over and over, or grab some dinner, etc. We always have a good time.

A sandy public beach that offers various organized sports activities every evening during the summer plus special designated areas for surfing and surf fishing.
there was a crowd walking, shopping, dining and taking pictures of the beach. In summer it is almost impossible to even walk main street in Rehoboth, never mind find a parking space. Use the shuttle. Great shops, restaurants, bars and even historic inns and hotels. We spent two days there and didn't scratch the surface. No wonder people rent for weeks at a time. Magnificent. Can't wait to return!

Stretching more than one mile along Rehoboth Beach, this famous boardwalk is lined with shops, restaurants and other amusements.
This is a great Boardwalk which can be very crowded in the summer. In the off season it's a lovely place to take a stroll. It's about a mile in length and if you walk the entire
Boards it gives you the opportunity to see what a cute and unique town Rehoboth is.

While vacationing with my family which included grandchildren we visited Jungle Jim's water park. I will say first & fore most that parents must always be aware & watch their children around any type of water & that lifeguards are not babysitters. That being said, as a certified lifeguard instructor , I am very disappointed & concerned about the lack of attention lifeguards paid to the patrons at the water park. There were numerous instances where the lifeguards were looking /texting on their cell phones & not at the water in their assigned areas . Twice I saw young children in distress in the water and the guards were totally unaware due to failure to recognize of just failure to be looking at the water. Both times another patron noticed & assisted the child while the lifeguards never moved. Another instance the guard continued to watch the child struggle until another patron again assisted.
The management needs to be aware of the lack of assistance given by their employees before there is a drowning at their park. My family for one shall not be returning to this unsafe park
