As someone who was once a ceramicist this museum was of great personal interest to me. I braved the extreme heatwave to walk there and I was thrilled that I had made the effort instead of going to the swimming pool. This is one of the best museums I have been to anywhere in the world. It is housed in a beautiful old building and the displays are laid out in an understated and very tasteful way, making it easy to find one's way around. I loved everything about this museum (do have a look at the toilet too!) My only reservation is that the signage should include other languages to make the information available to a wider, more international audience. As I said - outstanding! I will be back for another visit, dictionary in hand.

"Our highest ambition is preservation of the rural landscape and for our wines to embody the heart of our Land, our vines and the terroir."
Incredible winery, amazing architecture - a hidden gem in this beautiful Alentejo. Joana was great during all the trip, explaining everything clearly and giving us great tips from the region (including a great lunch tip in Casa do Povo do Freixo, near the winery - food was amazing and great price!). The wine...well, we could be there all day tasting it. Thanks for the welcoming visit! Diana e Rui
