It's a man made marvel that has been designed to connect Rameswaram island with main land. It's a long bridge that has been constructed in the Bay if Bengal. It's more than 2 Kms long. It's a man made marvel that is being erected on the Palk Straight. Unfortunately we can't park our car in the bridge. But we can walk on the bridge and adore the beauty of the sea.

This old church building remains in the Sandy beach of Danushkodi.. We could see a warning board displaying "No stones must be taken from that place and it ia a punishable offence".. Small shops which sell handicraft items are present on both sides.. The church is a witness of the fierce tsunami which hit Danushkodi in the 60's.. Be careful to walk at the back of the sands in Danushkodi church. It is indeed a sad thing to say that many people who have consumed liquor has dropped the bottles in the sand..
