This place really is a gem. You haven’t experienced the Phoenix East Valley unless you can say you’ve been here. Really cool place, great for out of town visitors and adult relatives. There’s a tour available (check their website?) but we always go for the food and the atmosphere. Extensive menu, with delicious food. Awesome place for lunch outside in the Arizona spring or fall and you can buy all kinds of olive goodies and local products in their ever-expanding gift shop.

This majestic event facility, located in the Phoenix metropolitan area, provides ample opportunity for events of both the English and Western equestrian persuasion, as well as home shows, RV and car shows, concerts and weddings.Horseshoe Park is home to a number of prestigious organizations including the Arizona Cutting Horse Association, Arizona Reined Cow Horse Association, Arizona Reining Horse Association, Hershberger Performance Horse Sale and Joan Usher Barrel Horse Racing.
This is the first horse show that I've ever been to. Granddaughter from Denver qualified to be a competitor, so we went. The mountains in the background are beautiful The inside, covered, facility hosted the barrel races, which we watched for a while. The riders were great. The outdoor facility was equally good. There you faced east, with the afternoon sun at our backs......very nice.

We took our kids hiking (age 6 and 8) and it was perfect. There are a number of trails to select depending on time and difficulty. We hiked Goldmine. It was a bit challenging for the kids (use caution as there is a lot of loose rock), but the view from the top is amazing. Inside the ranger station is a gift shop and there are animals and other educational items to help kids learn about the desert environment and wildlife. My kids loved that.

Best day ever! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Have lived in AZ for 40+ years and first time going horseback riding out here. In searching for a place to go in the East Valley I came across MD Ranch. BEST place to pick! Matt was so patient with the youngest rider (7 yrs yrs) and the one of the oldest riders (will skip age). The 7 yr old was both scared and excited about doing it. Matt was very patient with her putting her on the horse and making sure she felt at ease. The oldest needed special care in getting on and off the horse (thank you Matt). The ride was great and very scenic. Matt conversed with the 3 children while on the ride to make them feel at ease. He held the reigns of the youngest for her to feel safe. Our son and Matt got along great, they have the same sense of humor. Once the ride was over the 7 year old was asked if she liked it. She said yes (with a big smile) and said I want to do this again. BEST RECOMMNEDATION!!

We took the kids, and the grandkids tonight and had a fantastic time. Did the Ice Skating, which was great fun. Also the Christmas event, which was a blast. Yes, the train line was long, but with two trains it really went pretty fast, and the lights were amazing. We had some good food, the kids had ice cream, and the adults had some wine, and it was a pretty great little outing in an otherwise crazy year. The farm has really stepped up it's game this year, and everyone said they want to do it again next year - the best review you can get from a group. I was glad I brought my camera. Got some great shots under the lights.

Las Colinas Golf Club features a dynamic landscape. One that designer and architect Mike Asmundson found offered all the elements of a challenging yet playable course. With numerous mature trees, native grasses and plants, even the obstacles have never been so inviting. An imposing mountain range backs one hole – a par 5 dogleg. Two other holes are played lakeside.
