Chahkooh is a must see in Qeshm. The beautiful details carved in the Mountains by rain and wind give this place an outer space atmosphere. Try to visit before the sunset to enjoy the beautiful colours of the sun on the rocks. On your way back don’t forget to make a stop at the shop where village’s women sell their beautiful handmade clothing jewelry and bags! Prices are good and written down which saves the trouble of negotiating and you can enjoy a cup of tea.

Driving for an hour, we got close to the valley and parked our car in the parking place right at the entrance. It looked so mysterious to enter the valley as the sky-high Mountains looked absolutely weird at first glance.
Please bear in mind to follow the regular path as it might be too dangerous to get off the main track.
Don't forget to take amazing pictures to show them to your friends.

Yes! I could heaps of dolphins, but it really depends on the luck as well! Once some dolphins were showing up, lots of boats were approaching them. I assume a bit inconvenient for dolphins, and other tourists who want to watch them in their own natural move and mood.
We also stopped close to a rock where I could see so many nice cute fish around. And later stopping in the local bazar was an opportunity to buy some souvenirs.

I have seen mangrove Forests in Indonesia. That was impressive. After being overwhelmed by Qeshms geological formations I was disappointed to see this. Certainly it was wrong to go at low tide. Cruising on the channels between the Islands the impression was only seeing shrubs on wet land. Now and then a waterbird, some small animals creeping through the mud.
But to take this as one of the Geopark attractions like the Chakoo Canyon or the Star Valley really is misleading. There is so much to see on Qeshm, don't waste your time with this one.

Its been quite a time that i left this startling village "Salakh" and i still cant forget the stuning moments of living with all those artist girls who wore neat colorful dresses while painting creative designs on glasses.
An amazing experience of traditional foods and visiting outstanding geological sites of qeshm island made this journey an extraordinary one.
We had this chance to have a tangible experience of living and communicating with some of indigenous artists who were trained by Dr.Nadalian the artist who spend his life on enlightenment of the modern and traditional societies through the enviromental issues and specially enviromental art. His preoccupations with teaching around the world and helping every single girl to promote their state of life and thought were somthing which i always admire.

The Namakdan salt cave is located in the west of Qeshm along the southern coast. At 6850m it's the world's longest salt cave, even if only the first 100-200m are easily accessible for visitors. The cave and its walls consist of salt which has been eroded over time by water. At the time of visiting, there was no entrance fee.

Naaz Islands are 3 small Islands very close to Qeshm. You can see them from the beach. The interesting fact about them is that they connect and disconnect to Qeshm by the water level, twice a day. You can walk to them when the water is low.
They are famous beautiful Islands and you will see them on your way to the amazing Valley of the Stars.

This is the biggest and the best shopping center in Qeshm. You'll find almost all famous brands there and there is a good food court and a small indoor amusement park at the top level.
Also, there are many good cafes and restaurants outside of the building, around the main door. So, if the weather allows, it's fun to sit outside and eat something.
