Top 10 Things to do in Príncipe Real, Central Portugal

December 8, 2021 Cedrick Jardin

The museums of Lisbon celebrate the rich history and culture of this Portuguese capital city. The Maritime Museum is perfect for kids (and grown-ups!) who adore all things nautical, while the Casa-Museu Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves is a hidden gem of colorful artwork. To fully appreciate the city’s dramatic stone architecture you can take a guided walking tour, or customize your own tour, making sure to visit the Padrao dos Descobrimentos, the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, and the UNESCO World Heritage site the Torre de Belem.

Portuguese Connection Language School - One day Classes

Portuguese Connection is a Portuguese Language School for foreigners located in the heart of one of Europe's most exciting cities: Lisbon! Our language lessons focus on communication. We emphasise role-plays, learning activities in a real context (street, cafes, markets), debates, oral presentations, etc. Students are encouraged to interact with their classmates and their teachers.

I took my first one week intensive course at Portuguese Connection last year and this year I came back for another... no doubt I'll be back for more!! Not only does my portuguese improve immensly in only a week, but I just love spending time there! From the minute you walk through the door, you'll be wrapped in the warm atmosphere that is so typical for the portuguese. Anna-Lisa, Joana and Marco and the whole team are beyond amazing, so thoughtful and sweet, and they're genuinly invested in you learning and having the best time possible. After one day you feel like you've known them all for years. As an added bonus, the school is situated in a PERFECT spot, it's in a gorgeous area of Lisbon, perfect walking distance to downtown, a great lunch/coffee place with great prices right across the street in the park... There's really nothing more you could want from a language course/school. Sign up, study, hang out and have a fantastic time in Lisbon, you won't regret it!

My name is Grzegorz Gębarzewski. In 2013, I came from Poland to Lisbon, and stayed in this beautiful city to this day. Despite having 10 years of practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge gained throughout my master's degree, I am constantly seeking to improve my knowledge regarding different massage techniques. I offer a variety of massages which are all listed on my website; these range from 60 - 120 minutes and from €50 - 60. Please contact me for further details.

So glad we visited during our short stay in Lisbon. This is a very cool little bar in a quiet street in the city. Don’t be put off by having to ring the doorbell to gain entry, the staff are welcoming and attentive and they have a good selection of cocktails!
