The Brothers Greenhouses is an independently owned and operated garden center, propagation greenhouse, and nursery that encourages healthy gardens on the Kitsap Peninsula by providing well-cared-for plants, inspiration, and education for our local community. We are open to the public daily year-round in our Sunnyslope location.
A simply amazing nursery with beautiful and healthy plants, shrubs and trees abounding. You know we had to love the Hobbit House. My wife used it as a backdrop to take the best photo of me that's ever been taken. Of course she had to wait until I was ready to come out, and that took awhile. Other reviews mention the poor customer service. My wife has been here once with a friend, and because of her great experience, she insisted I accompany her for a return visit. She said the woman at the cash register was very friendly on her visit, and I can personally attest that the woman manning the cash register on our visit was just as friendly. And I had questions for the staff watering the various plants' both the young woman, and the young man she deferred to for answering my questions were very friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, the young man told me about the two women who built the Hobbit House themselves three years ago. Maybe those other negative reviews about the staff proved to be training opportunities for management and staff. Regardless, we had a wonderful visit, bought some great herbs and groundcover, and we will most certainly be back.

We attended the showing of Dark Crystal a few months back. Its an older theater, but they modified the seats so you have plenty of leg room. The crowd was participating in the show. It was great. We want to see Rocky Horror there someday. WE need to support this theater in downtown Port Orchard. Their prices are very reasonable and while they have limited snacks, they are good old buttery popcorn.
