A wonderful vivid surprise, beautiful paintings from variety of painters. Nice “story behind” of Pont-Aven location and history. Short 30-40 minutes with lots of fascinating paintings. Worth a special trip to see it

Such a beautiful village. Every step looks like a postal card. We've been amazed by the beauty of it! Elected in 2020 at "number 4 most favorite village of France" by the French (there is a annual competition), and it really deserved it. We walked in the village, bought biscuits at the "Traou Mad" (tastefull things in breton) biscuits shop, went for lunch (lots of choice), went to to the museum, walked again, went to the see the chaptel afterwards at the top of Pont Aven (by car, we were tired), what a great and beautilful day!

Visited here to mark my daughters 4th birthday while we were on holiday. We paid for the cheapest ticket without the large maze as thought she would find the actors scary. Also had my 5yo son with us. What a little gem of a place, they absolutely loved it and we spent 5hrs here. The outdoor games, trampolines and small mazes were brilliant and the setting is beautiful. Lunch was reasonable and tasty followed by an ice cream. A few animals to see, had no issue with rams or electric fencing as mentioned on other reviews. A day out for 23€ was a bargain I thought, highly recommend a visit.

This lovely small chapel, located to the north of the town on the edge of the Bois d'Amour, was a little gem. It inspired many artists including Gaughin's "le Christ jaune". We paid the Euros to turn on the lights for a better view of the ceiling and the small art show with a reproduction of Gaughin's painting. easily accessible by car; a good hike from the village centre.
