This has a town small town feel. It has a walk-able Historic downtown with lots antique shops and free parking. This city is the host to the Annual Strawberry festival in March that lasts over 10 days. Strawberries are made into everything cookies, kettle corn, fritters, preserves, jelly, brittle, shakes, hamburgers, cheesecake, pies, Pizza, donuts, drinks and more. There other things to do and see in Plant city year round Parkesdale Farmers Market, Dinosaur World, museums and park. The Keel Kurley Winery and Two Henry Brewing is my favorite destination in Plant city. This Plant City is located in Hillsborough County, Florida, it is located midway between the city of Brandon and Lakeland along Interstate4 (I-4).

Read the menu when you are in line, select your # to order by. Be ready to tell them your number. This is a fast make place. No time to be dreaming.
Orders are large. Very impressive place. There are lots of tables at the far end. Have fun.

Dinosaur World is a self guided outdoor museum with over 200 life size dinosaurs in a natural setting. Dig for fossils in the Fossil Dig, uncover a life size dinosaur skeleton replica from under the sand in the Boneyard, visit Exploration Cave for a guided tour with a Paleontologist and try your hand at trivia during the Triviasaurus Rex Game Show! Check out the museum with real artifacts and animatronic dinosaurs and our NEW Florida Fossils Museum! Pan for real gems and minerals at the Dino Gem Mine and CRACK YOUR OWN GEODE at the Geode Cracker!
Spent a few hours here while on our way from Orlando to the Tampa area. Our family loves all things dinosaurs so we were looking forward to visiting this park. Some of the statues and displays need a little work but overall it was a pleasant walk around to see the different dinosaurs in the natural landscapes. It's pretty well shaded thanks to some tall trees and the boardwalk meanders all over the park. We went to a paleontologist talk, which was neat and our kids did the fossil dig and each took home some shark teeth! The museum has lots of bones and fossils which was cool- their animatronic dinos are also in the museum. There are only 4, so it's a little underwhelming but kids will enjoy it! There's no food onsite, other than a couple of vending machines, but lots of picnic tables if you wanted to bring your own. Overall, if your kids like dinosaurs it's definitely worth a visit!

Don't expect fine dining here, it's all about the beer. Our party had a wine sampler flight, fish and chips, blackened grouper, conch fritters, and a chicken Cesar salad. The wine selection was just OK. The Jameson Steamboat Porter was excellent second only to Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale.
Service was a little spotty. Grouper was over cooked and had too much seasoning. Nice pub feeling in the decor.
Prices are just a wee bit on the dear side, but no reason not to visit.

The Edward Medard Park is tucked away in eastern Hillsborough County between Brandon and Plant City. The Park extends along 1,284 acres where a dike, control structure and reservoir offer some flood protection along the Alafia River. In 1972, under an agreement with the District, Hillsborough County developed this site as one of its largest and most popular regional parks, visited yearly by more than 400,000 people.
Price to enter is only $2.00 per automobile and you enter a very well maintained park with many trails, picnic areas, lake access, and jutting old mine scrapings that have live oak trees growing on them. Children playing everywhere. We saw alligators, turtles, fish, birds, and listened and saw many different kinds of bird species. This park was a wonderful experience for us this Sunday.

Would be nice to hear train conductors, or have a schedule of trains passing through listed somewhere. Nice view of the tracks, park and museum, but it is lacking interactive features and more detailed information. The day we went the elevator wasn't working, so an elderly couple who were visiting couldn't go up.

Brings backs memories of train travel, enjoyed our visit, the geo cache is missing. The train went by while we were inside the museum shaking the floor boards. loved it.

I liked the cider flight and got to try some unique flavors. Pretzels with beer cheese sauce were yummy. Goid burgers, and unique craft beers. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Will go on the vineyard tour next time, too.

Our garden has been open for over 30 years, filled with handmade wrought iron, statuary, and a variety of animals throughout two acres of mossy oak trees. Take a stroll by Boinky the pig, have a chat with the parrots, and watch the peacocks strut their feathers all while surrounded by our handcrafted iron designs and unique statuary. Gates, furniture and iron décor of all styles - we make custom designs and have original designs ready for purchase. People come to relax, take pictures, paint, or just eat lunch on the picnic tables. There's never a need to buy anything, simply enjoy the blend of art and nature. Make yourself at home in the garden and ring the big bell by the gazebo if you need anything, including complimentary water and bug spray. We're open Wednesday-Sunday 10am-4pm and Monday and Tuesday by appointment.
Metals & Nature is a slice of garden tranquility in the middle of the Plant City countryside. The Smude family is kind and welcoming, and the artwork and nature found on property is breathtaking. As an added bonus, guests can visit with Boinky the pig and see peacocks that roam the ground. The business is also close to other Plant City area restaurants and other areas for visitors.

Have never been to any farmers market like this one. A wonderful array of fruits and Vegetables plus flea market and yard sale combined. Music, food and lots and lots of people. It covers quite a lot of space so prepare to do a lot of walking. We went on Wednesday and had a great time
