Zen Bar is the best! I live in Plainville, and have been here a bunch of times. The owner Giancarlo is a great guy, Ive known him a long time. Always tries to make customers happy. Love the karaoke when they have it, pool table, and good drinks. Def a good spot to visit

Got there soon after they opened and claimed a spot. We all got flights - four 4 - 5 oz pours for $9. Superior beer! Some in our party tried whiskey flights and they really enjoyed them. They have some crazy number of whiskeys, maybe 600, and they are served in whiskey tasting glasses. The hype is real - the glass really does improve the whiskey drinking experience. No food but I think you can bring your own. Many good local breweries in Connecticut. This is one! Check it out if IPA’s and local beers are your thing!

The newest trend in Date nights, Family nights, Social gatherings, and Corporate team building. Solve all within 60 minutes and you “Escape the room”. Perfect for ages 10 to 110. The Basement is an escape room first and foremost although we have added a few bits of horror elements within. Depending on your tolerance, it may be scary. We hope so. If you feel you may easily be offended with some graphic horror, please feel free to call us with questions. Our second room The Backstage, opened in 2018! Lighter and brighter, this is a very active room that is suited best for larger groups and is filled with puzzles, gadgets, mysteries, and challenges for you to solve. Entertain Your Brain!

This is the best place in CT to watch a movie. There is a large selection of movies and vast, easy, free parking. You can purchase tickets ahead of time and select a seat or do so at the entrance. It is very advantageous to become a “ STUBS”member which allows discounts for movies and refreshments. The lobby is spacious and well-lighted. The seats are fabulous and you can nearly fully recline and can be warmed. I cannot go when tired for fear of falling asleep the seats are so comfortable. They had winter issues with two water line breaks but that has been repaired. The popcorn was pretty choked and there is a good selection of snacks. Just a great place to watch films. There are good viewing slits for those who are handicapped as well as audio assist systems. The rest rooms are spacious and clean. There is also an IMAX theater.
