Pickerington is a city in Fairfield and Franklin counties in the central region of the U.S. state of Ohio. It was founded in 1815 as Jacksonville. Pickerington was known as Jacksonville until 1827, when the citizens petitioned the state legislature to change the name to Pickerington in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering. It is a suburb of Columbus. The population was 18,291 at the 2010 census. As land annexation, development, and immigration into the Columbus area continues, the city of Pickerington (like many area suburbs) has generally followed suit. Pickerington is also home to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame, located at 13515 Yarmouth Dr. off Interstate 70.

I joined the AMA as a kid racing motorcycles in NY. Amazingly, after MANY years I ended up in Columbus, OH and "my" museum was close so I finally got to visit it. I'm a Charter Life member (been a member over 25 years) so I got free admission. Impressive displays and a variety of bikes. You can learn the history of motorcycles here. Especially impressed with the exhibit of Dave Barr's bike (A Harley-Davidson that he rode 83,000 miles around the world). Amazing, you say? How about learning that he did it with 2 prosthetic legs! Bikers are impressive folks and this is an impressive collection.

Combustion Brewery & Taproom produces and serves a wide variety of FRESH craft beer. That is our focus. We are located in the former Pickerington Creamery, in Pickerington, Ohio. PICK OHIO BEER!
This is a great place to go. They have expanded their food options, and most of the time there is a food truck there also. Newly built patio is great. Seating outside and inside. Live music on some nights. Locally brewed beer is great, mixed drinks & wine. You can even order pizza from Romeo's next door, and bring it over to Combustion. I highly recommend this place. Family friendly, but not many kids are there. I sometimes see people bring their dogs, and eat outside. I love their "Sampler", 4 different kinds of beers!!

When you first drive in, you'll find a skate park, a Ninja Warrior course and a playground. A short walk will take you to the covered bridge which is the entrance to the arboretum. Such a nice variety of trees. An easy, flat dirt path takes you by most of them.

The stadium lounge seats are really comfortable, pizza & snacks are great, and the bar is really nice as well.
