We offer a 40 minute tour of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We have a vehicle that holds about 20 people that goes on a seven mile trail in the dunes. We stop at Lake Michigan or Silver Lake for a few minutes for pictures and to enjoy the view.
It's not a roller coaster ride, but some nice hills. Educational and fun. Worth the price of admission.

This is a state park along the coast of Lake Michigan located near Mears, Michigan. It includes shoreline along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake, along with many sand dunes.
The orv park is like nothing you can get in the Midwest. You feel as if you are in California or a different planet. It is truly like nothing else. There are so many places you can take your orvs from climbing tall dunes to going through tree areas with sand.

We've been to this park many times but probably won't return because of the staff. Before, our encounters seemed like they really didn't like anyone using the park. But this time I really felt really uncomfortable. We had a large motor home and when we arrived for a day trip visiting the beach the RV parking spaces were either taken or too small. This was a Tuesday during the week and the parking lot wasn't close to being full so I parked across 3 spaces. Two staff members soon came over and first accused us if not having a pass, which was clearly on the windshield. Next they said we would have to leave because we were taking up too much room. What? So if we each came in separate cars and took up more parking spaces, that would be ok I guess.

The excitement of Silver Lake starts at Parrot's Landing, with recreational rentals for great family fun on the sand and water. Take on the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in a rugged Jeep, quad, or dune buggy. If you enjoy the water, ski or tube across the many nearby lakes while being towed by one of our ski boats. For even more action, launch a powerful Jet Ski Wave Runner into the waves of Lake Michigan.
We opted for the sunset tour as we earlier in the day took the Mac Woods Dune Ride and toured the Little Sable Point Lighthouse. This was one of my favorite things we did on vacation. Bill was our tour guide and he gave us a good time and taught us to safely drive on the dunes. I believe we paid around $175 for what was about an 90 minutes maybe a little longer cause Bill took us through the hills one last time after the sunset. He was a real talker and talked the whole time over the radios which each jeep comes with. He has many stories to tell. Would do this again if we go back but might include an hour of free time were we can drive without a guide.

Today was our third time in three vacations we have rented kayaks from Pentwater River Outfitters. Gregg is so consistent with his customer service and professionalism. Bonny and Shane follow suit. When booking with Bonny she had the weather forecast immediately available to assist us in choosing the best day for our trip. Gregg gave us a good overview upon arrival this morning and told us several times if we needed them to just call. Very reassuring. He spent some extra time with my son who has only kayaked once to make sure he had the basics down. Very kind and patient. Single kayaks are $35 for four hours (plenty of time), tandem kayak was $45. PRO escorts you to Pentwater River launch, provide a map and great instructions as to optimizing your trip. They will also deliver kayaks to the beach if you'd like.
Instead of renting a paddle board on the beach this year, we rented from PRO for $50/24 hours. Shane was right behind us delivering our paddle board and picked it up the next day.
Equipment quality is top rate. Safety is of great importance to them. Fun is the ultimate goal.
Top your visit off and purchase one of their shirts!!! So soft and comfy!!!

My husband and I had dinner here recently prior to a bicycle trip. The food is far above regular bar food. I had a Cobb salad and everything was fresh and crisp. My husband had a beef burrito that he really enjoyed. We had a couple rounds of gin and tonics and these were perfect on a hot day. Staff was friendly and service was very good. With the mounted heads of deer, moose, antelope, elk, caribou, it's easy to see why it's called the Antler Bar.

Real life escape room challenges. 3 rooms to choose from; The Den, The Shop, or The Dorm Room. Rooms are designed for 1-6 people. Find clues, solve puzzles, and answer riddles to escape the room within an hour. Great for family bonding, a fun friends night/day out, and team building. Work together with your group to see if you have what it takes to not be BamBoozled. Open by appointment only.
I work with a team of 5 ladies. We were looking for a fun team building activity. This was perfect. It was the first time any of us had visited an escape room. The puzzles were difficult but do able. We worked to gether and had a great time. My family will be visiting soon to see if we can master one of the other rooms.

Stopped here on a tour up the coast with my wife. Building was a little run down, smelled like cigarettes as other reviewers said. Tried several wines, bought a couple bottles. The vintner was not terribly friendly to forthcoming with information. I'd say it's worth a stop if you're in the area already. Otherwise venture elsewhere.

We visited Pentwater in early June before the Summer season really started (they get going after 6/7), so it was not crowded and the weather was ideal for a lunch outside overlooking Pentwater Lake. The Village Cafe & Pub is perfectly situated overlooking the marina. I was determined to find some Lake Michigan fish and they had a very nice fresh Lake Perch Basket to satisfy my longing. However, possibly most surprising and delightful was my wife's entree; The Davoc, a sandwich composed of fresh zucchini and asparagus with roasted red peppers, basil aioli, and spring mix on ciabatta, very fresh and pleasing. I chose fries for my fish basket, but my wife ordered the homemade potato chips-go for them! We also ordered a Smoked White Fish dip to take back to our campsite-order that too-Wow! Our server was very pleasant and accommodating, all in all a very pleasant experience. We're sure this place is crazy in the Summer, but was very relaxing in early June. Probably worth the wait if you visit in the busy season.

We are a 40 acre working family farm with a licensed kitchen that makes sweet and or savory Jams, Preserves, Bread and Dip Mixes and yummy Granola. Plenty of samples available. Everything is made with the fruit we grow or our neighbors grow. We have tractors for people to sit on and take pictures and they are welcome to walk around the farm buildings and grounds. We have a quilt block on the barn and are part of the Mason County Ag Trail. Both have recorded information you can listen too. We are open 7 days a week in the summer and 4 days a week in the fall. We close just before Christmas and open again in the spring. Come and visit the Jamlady!
