Local family owned farm serving up "farm fresh family fun" in Penfield, NY since 1986. The farm attracts many visitors each fall seeking the perfect pumpkin, pick your own apples, fresh baked goods and a taste of good old fashioned fall fun. The farm offers hayrides, corn mazes and many other fall fun activities from September to Halloween. Come during the summer months for other farm festivals such as our annual Sunflower Spectacular Festival and fun activities such as our 18 hole mini golf course, the giant jumping pillow, kiddie train, farm animals & more. The farm also grows fresh vegetables on the property for its 300 plus member CSA (community supported agriculture) / harvest share program. The program lasts for a total of 18 weeks. Members enjoy fresh fruit, produce & flowers.
We attended for honeycrisp picking and candy drop. It was organized chaos for candy drop and apples were delish. They sold bottles of water in orchards which was awesome considering the heat. They also had Apple launching that was $8 for 10 apples kids liked too and sunflowers and grapes :) fun pre fall day.

The Channing H. Philbrick Park is a wonderful park because it gives you the feeling that you really are "back in the woods." The hike alongside the stream is flanked by steep hills on either side, and traverses flower-filled fields and wooden walkways over water. You get a sense of beauty and solitude, even though you are really in the town of Penfield. It's great for about an hour (or longer if you take any of the side trails). People enjoy fishing here as well. I highly recommend this place, especially if you live in the are but have never visited.

I love Spring Lake Park! The front part of the park is perfect for families who want to have a picnic, perfect for baseball players, perfect place for fishermen. But the back part of the park is the place I love the most! It is the place for dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes to meet - - and they get to play off-leash! To top it off, Irondequoit Creek runs through the park and provides a nice, clean swimming hole for the pups - - and boy do they love it!! I have made a lot of new friends at Spring Lake Park - - if there is one great thing about dog parents is that we all love to talk with other dog parents. Thank you Perinton, for providing this wonderful place for our pups!

We are a small husband and wife run Cidery. We like to say we are a farm to glass small batch Cidery. It’s all done on our farm here in Penfield NY, from growing and pressing our own apples to fermenting, aging and bottling our ciders. We do everything in house because that way we know the taste of our cider will stay as good as the day we made it and because we love the process.
