I found this place on the internet. I was pushing it a little with a four year old and a six year old. The four year old was just over the 40" mark so he could do the rookie go karts. That made the day. The two of them rode the karts at least five times. We also played golf. They played at least two courses. The key to the video games is that you prepay the amount you are willing to spend. When the money runs out, they are done. We had a great afternoon.

Fairly new so it's clean. Very well maintained. Not so big that you would lose the kids but enough attractions to keep them entertained for a few hours.
I wish that they would consider keeping the park opened until late because the Antelope Valley sun is just too intense.
More food choices would also be nice.

We went to the movies at Cinemark The theaters are large and have good sound and projection system, Right now, the chairs are standard theater chairs, but they plan to upgrade to the luxury recliners. Parking is free Staff is nice,
We saw Game Night on a Thursday night.,

A great highway to travel anytime of the year, but it's best in spring.
The back way to Las Vegas. No need to go through Ranch Cucamonga and San Bernardino. Rustic, meandering, and rolling road that is a great way from the San Ferndo Valley or West Los Angeles and avoid the traffic across the San Gabriel Valley. Yucca trees and even such places as Lake Los Angeles, of course without a lake, highlight the drive.

Transplants Brewing Company, now open in Palmdale, CA focuses on hoppy west coast ales and creative specialties. We strive to brew inventive and flavorful creations and are always brainstorming new ideas and approaches for our beer. Just as Los Angeles attracts collects random people from all over the world (our team originally hails from Chicago and New York), our specialty beer recipes draw from diverse, worldly and ethnic influences which often blur the lines between culinary and brewing sensibilities. In both senses, Transplants Brewing Company truly is "Ales for the Unrooted."
Had a chance to check out this new brewery and had a great time! We are big IPA drinkers and had 3 of their's that were quite good. Lots of choices for all beer fans but check out their coconut porter for a treat. It was smooth and tasty.
Lots of folks having a good time in a place that encourages fun. Hope to return before we head back to AZ.

Just off the 14 fwy on 6th St east, between Palmdale Blvd and East Ave Q. 11,000 sq feet and over 60 vendors. We have a continuous and ever changing inventory of antiques, vintage, collectibles and newer items. Furniture, glass and kitchen ware, fine jewelry, costume jewelry, home decor and so much more. You can see up to date photos on our Facebook page.
We have gone through here several times over the years. It's probably the best antique shop in the Antelope Valley. Just a fun place to look through old treasures. Several special events occur throughout the year.

This is a quite from a local article. " Palmdale Barrel Springs Trail: The City of Palmdale in partnership with the AV Heritage Foundation and the Antelope Valley Trails Recreation and Environmental Council was awarded $415,152 in Prop A money to build this trail. This 1 1/2 mile of trail will be used as a backbone trail for the Antelope Valley." This trail is frequented by day hikers and people riding horses. U can start from either end of the trail. The other entrance is off of Sierra Hwy and Barrel Springs rd and has horse trailer parking.

This is a great place to stop and stretch or even to take a small break from driving if you are heading into the Eastern part of Mojave Desert in California.
Though this outlook is only available for those to stop on the 14 northbound. If you are headed southbound, you'll see it but can't stop to take a look.
It can be windy and there can be a lot of cars driving by so be very cautious if there are young children in your group.
It's a very serene view of the Aerospace Valley and a glimpse of the California portion of the Mojave Desert.

The correct name for this course is Rancho Vista not Rancho Visto as listed in another review. It is a great local course. Everything was well maintained and we played three times while we were in the area. The forward tees are not all that forward, so not much of an advantage on the par 5s and many of the par 4s. Wind is a factor so adjust club selection. Bunkers can be deep and the sand hard. They charge a key fee of $5, but you get that back when you return the key or you can turn in the key at the bar for a 32oz pitcher of domestic light beer. The bar and restaurant are great.
