Located in the beautiful and wild countryside of Pahrump Valley, this winery offers free tours, picnic facilities and special events throughout the year.
We love the Pahrump Valley Winery. It is a favorite place to show visitors and for enjoying a great meal. They offer free tasting of their award-winning wines, and tours of their expanded wine-making facility. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have recently added some wines from California, a nice addition to the local vintages. The gift shop offers some fun and classy items, including apparel, jewelry, wine accessories, and wine-themed gifts. The restaurant - Symphony's - offers delicious menu items, in a country-club casual environment. Reservations recommended.

What a great surprise. We'd never done a wine tasting, didn't even know if they would be open, but WOW! Crystal and Jack were wonderful hosts, teaching us lots of things we never knew about wine and how to enjoy it. Good selection, no pressure, just a fun afternoon!

Everything in the museum is donated. From old farm tools, to military uniforms, to household items. Very organized. No admission charge, but a donation box is set up. I am glad we stopped and took a self guided tour. They are working on a train room. What is set up, is fantastic, a must to stop back when finished.

We stayed for three nights for our inaugural RVing trip. The staff was very friendly, letting us pick our spot; one that was easy to back in a travel trailer. It is a very quite park with lots of trees and a beautiful little lake. Quite unexpected in the middle of the desert. The park is very well maintained with great WI-Fi, clean restrooms and attentive security. The park is a bit out of town so the on site casino with a convenience store/gas station and cafe are nice to have nearby. We are returning in August.

Visited my friends who were in the RV Resort while I stayed in the hotel. Beyond clean. Very quiet, even late at night. Staff was responsive.

Drove down the Old Spanish Trail to the Cathedral Canyon turnoff. The grave of Queho is there. Everything in the canyon is trashed and has been shot at, but still is very interesting to see. Road into canyon is a little rough. I was in a new jeep, so no problem.
