The Oxford Performing Arts Center is THE performance and concert venue for Oxford, Calhoun County, and the surrounding area in northeast Alabama. With over 100 events each year along with a professional art gallery, the Performing Arts Center is the arts and entertainment destination for the entire region.
We had never been to the Performing Arts Center, so I was excited about checking it out. When we went, it was to see the band America, and there really wasn't any kind of security to speak of. That was refreshing, but also surprising.
There is parking directly across from the entrance and it is free.
There are concessions inside that serve soft drinks, water, snacks but no adult beverages. We were on the bottom floor, and the view of the stage was good. There is also a balcony and I imagine those seats are have a good viewing as well.
We would definitely go back to see another show here.

My husband and I went to the Midnight Masquerade Ball at the museum for New Year's Eve. It was awesome! I enjoyed looking through the museum on our way to dinner. We will definitely be back with our girls to tour the museum. The exhibits are amazing. This place is a hidden gem. My girls will enjoy the natural history/animals here.

The city of Oxford really built a nice facility. The Oxford Like park is a nice facility but this one is exceptional. In addition to an excellent walking trail, it had several ball fields. It has plenty of park ing and is well appointed. The city spent a lot of money on the park but they got their monies worth. They also keep the park very clean and safe. Great job City of Oxford.

You will be absolutely amazed by what you find in the Berman Museum. HIlter's teaset, treasures from the Czar Nickolas, masterpieces of art, spy weaponry, Bronzes, and so much more. The collection is so massive it has to be rotated. You will find something to excite your memory. The docents are so friendly and knowledgeable. You won't be disappointed.

Located midway between Birmingham, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia and minutes from the renowned Talladega Superspeedway, Cider Ridge Golf Club features an 18-hole classic mountain-style layout.
Our group played Cider Ridge three times; Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The course is well laid-out, fair, interesting yet challenging. The various holes and tee positions provide plenty of variation and different challenges. After three straight days of golf on the same course, non of us felt bored with it. The condition of the course was excellent - tee box, fairway and especially the greens. I would expect to pay much more for such a good course. Another plus were all the people we encountered; manager, grounds keepers, starter, servers, even other players, all were professional and very friendly. They made us feel special, like very welcome guests. Another big plus was never being crowded. I highly recommend Cider Ridge.

I have played both rooms open at the Escape Zone, and loved them both! The staff thoroughly explained how to play, and made the experience so much fun. The rooms are cleverly designed, and offer a challenging/enjoyable time for couples, families, and even for other events (parties, company team building...). Playing a game at Escape Zone is definitely a great way to spend an hour!

Great idea for large or small groups, couples or someone alone. Comedians from local areas and imported from other cities and states do their routines here. The early show (7:30 pm) is the "cleaner" show. The 10:30 pm show is the "wild" show, so be prepared!!! Not everyone will enjoy every routine, but there is something for everyone.
Bar type food and limited alcoholic choices are available.
You should check out this new venue for the area!!!!

Opening July 16th
I'm not sure if these were death masks? The exhibit was very interesting but unusual. They had info plaques telling about each persons mask.
