Portanova is Osijek's newest and most exciting shopping destination. There are two floors of shopping units which include more than 100 brand names, a hypermarket, entertainment venues such as multiplex cinema and bowling plus numerous restaurants and cafes and plenty of car parking spaces. Portanova or “new door” is an entirely new entrance to the city, but also the entrance to a new world of friendship, fun and enjoyable atmosphere..
A basic shopping mall with everything you need. The clothing stories and particularly intriguing to an American such as myself.

For years, denizens of Central and Eastern Europe raised columns, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the Holy Trinity or to mark a special event. This one, erected in 1729 to mark the end of the plague, is particularly striking.
