Operated by the City of Canal Fulton and the Canal Fulton Heritage Society, the St. Helena III Canal Boat rides offer the public the chance to ride a replica cargo canal boat pulled by two work horses one mile south and back on the original Ohio & Erie Canal. The boat travels past the renovated McLaughlin Dry Dock and Lock 4. During the one hr ride, the crew steer with a rudder and poles while a historian on board provides facts and stories of life during Ohio’s canal era.
This little excursion exceeded our expectations. The boat ride was a full hour, with our guide providing narration and history of the Ohio Canal systems. The guide was very knowledgeable, and even played some period-themed music on his banjo and harmonica. He gave us the opportunity to climb on top the boat at one point to enjoy the view of the canal from that perspective as well. Fairly priced for what you receive, and highly informative. Well worth our time.

Lehman's, founded in 1955 by Jay Lehman to serve the local Amish, now ships brand new, but old-fashioned merchandise all over the world. The store has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Newsweek, Time and more -- it's worth a trip to Kidron.
This is not just a store; it is a destination. This is my third visit to Amish Country since moving to Ohio 5 years ago, and each time a visit to Lehman's is on the top of the list. Each room offers such a unique shopping experience even if you don't plan to buy anything. The candy shop is loaded with one of a kind treats. Even the area of farm production type tools is fascinating. Plan to spend at least two hours here. Yes, you can even sit down and have a meal here. Can't wait to bring my aunt here who will love Lehman's.

Family run fruit and vegetable farm. Apples, peaches, strawberries, raspberries, and much, much more! Pies and cookies baked daily in market kitchen. Open year round.
We arrived mid-day on a Saturday. I haven't been for a few years and it looked they've expanded. We didn't do any actual apple picking in the fields but, it seemed popular with families. We visited the gift shop and had tons of fun. The...MoreI'm glad you enjoyed your trip to our farm! Thank you so much for stopping, and for writing such a great review!

JM Smucker Company holds a lot of different companies in their portfolio. You wanna know what those companies are? Visit the Smuckers Barn and you will see. As you drive in you see banners for coffee, baking, pet food etc...
When you go in the barn all it really is, is a huge grocery store selling all these brands. Yes they do have cute gifts and other things but the reason for the barn is to sell the brand names. They will give out samples of foods they are selling and they do have a very small area set up as a "History Of' for you to see. Don't get me wrong, it is fun and cute but not worth driving hundreds of miles to go see.

This quiet memorial park makes you aware of the price that was paid and is still being paid...for my freedom. The devotion of the caretakers make this small piece of ground...a true tribute to the lives of those that GAVE THEIR ALL.

We are an orchard that has nearly 300 acres of fresh fruit. We have a Farmer's Market M-S. We offer tours on the farm and have free sampling.
We visit Bauman Orchard in Rittman throughout the year and love the convenience of the corner market at the crossroads of routes 585 and 57. Seasonal fruits and vegetables are always fresh and delicious and the staff is super friendly! The main location features a lovely mural on the building.

Being only an hour away, Wooster summer Light Opera is a must.Once again enjoyed the venue-The Freelander Theter and the wonderful performance The live orchestra is an added treat. The parking was a bit difficult as they had a Symposium week in progress but the 2 performances we attended were most enjoyable. We also stayed overnight at a Boutique hotel and enjoyed the restaurants and antique shops.

Nestled in beautiful Sonnenberg Valley and the heart of Amish Country, P. I did my first tandem at Aerohio 3 years ago and soon thereafter decided to learn to skydive. The instructors were great. Aerohio is a great place and I have made many new friends there. Everyone should try skydiving at least once in their life to experience freefall. You won't regret it.
