Founded in 1985, Goosecross is a winery and vineyard owned by Christi Coors Ficeli and her family. Located in Yountville, Goosecross is known for producing high quality wines and providing excellent customer service. They stay focused on the basics – sustainable farming with attention, care and diligence in the cellar. Their wines are only available through the winery, 100% direct to consumer. A visit to Goosecross’ wine tasting room in Yountville will delight you with its casual, friendly atmosphere and outstanding hospitality. The winery tasting room is the place to taste, experiment, and learn in a laid-back beautiful space, and in the company of knowledgeable hosts who are passionate about wine.
Visited the vineyard seven years ago and wanted to go back on a recent trip. Completely redone since our last time there and now has a great tasting room and deck overlooking the vineyard. Jose was a great host. Looking forward to my shipment arriving later in the month. If you go by, tell Jose the guy from Alabama sent you and buy a couple of bottles of wine.

Honig is a family owned winery producing award winning Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon since 1980. We are a sustainable vineyard and winery, and a powered by solar energy. We offer several different tasting experiences, including our Classic Tasting ($30, our Eco-Tour and Tasting ($45) and our Reserve Tasting ($60). You can find information on each of these offerings on the Visit page on our website. Children and friendly dogs are welcome.
We stopped into this winery to purchase a case of wine and they were so accommodating. They offered for us to sample both the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cab. I preferred the red. They gave us a nice tour of the area and then we enjoyed our samples outside in the patio area. Super nice and personable family who also gives back to causes and the community (they had just sponsored a fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetics the week prior and was a stop off point for the bicycle marathon, which included Lance Armstrong).

The Inglenook legacy began in 1879 when Gustave Niebaum, a Finnish sea captain, wine connoisseur and entrepreneur, came to Rutherford to build a wine estate that would rival Europe's finest. When Niebaum's grandnephew, John Daniel, Jr. inherited the chateau and vineyards in the 1930s, Inglenook had already earned international acclaim. Francis and Eleanor Coppola purchased the property in 1975 and have spent forty years reuniting the original vineyards, returning winemaking operations to the chateau, and restoring Inglenook's illustrious heritage with the help of renowned wine consultant Stephane Derenoncourt and Managing Director and Winemaker Philippe Bascaules. In honor of this estate and its historical significance, we have restored the name, Inglenook.
Our future son-in-law chose this vineyard for where he proposed to our daughter. Soon after, we surprised them with a small party in a private tasting room. Staff was great and the building itself (built 1875) was fabulous. Lovely grounds and, lest I forget, fabulous wines.

Far Niente wines offer some of the finest selections - and their vineyard will not disappoint! The scenery is breathtaking; the wine tasting exquisite; reservations are a must and this avoids any over crowding within the vineyard tour and tasting experience. Our guide, Jessica, was knowledgeable and wonderfully helpful with insight and information sharing. The tasting moment took place in a private room thus allowing for conversation and bonding of new friends. Be sure to add Far Niente to your activity list - you won't be sorry!

In the town of Yountville.
We did three winery visits on our Green Hills wine tour, this was our last for the day. Grant who conducted our tasting was friendly, informative and obviously a wine enthusiast. The wines were good value and we bought the cabernet and chardonnay. The cheese, cracker and nut side plate was appreciated. This is worth a visit.

We pride ourselves on making one varietal that is food-friendly and deliciously drinkable upon release. Our story begins in the early 1970's when Ray Duncan befriended winegrower Justin Meyer. The two formed a partnership and co-founded Silver Oak Cellars in 1972 with the bold vision of producing only Cabernet Sauvignon. Come experience the Silver Oak Cellars Napa Valley winery in Oakville, CA to enjoy exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon wine tasting tours.
I'd been introduced to this wine this past August and looked forward to visiting the winery. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Both a couple bottles of wine during our visit.

A Growing Tradition: For nearly a quarter century, our family has been growing some of the finest winegrapes in the heart of the Napa Valley's acclaimed Rutherford region. Home to some of the most famous American vineyards, and some of the most coveted Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, Rutherford is widely recognized as one of the great viticultural regions of the world. Over the years, we have cultivated a nurturing and sustainable relationship with our estate vineyard, which has made our Cabernet Sauvignon prized by numerous esteemed wineries. To make our own highly-rated, handcrafted wines, we have combined two generations of winegrowing experience with the same artisan attention to detail we have learned are essential parts of crafting world-class olive oils and red wine vinegars. Our goal is simple - by remaining true to time-honored traditions we strive to bring you the best the Napa Valley has to offer. We invite you to explore and savor these exceptional, limited-production wines.
What a beautiful vineyard, it’s really literally beautiful inside and out. The tasting was very personal- which we definitely prefer as we find the big group can be very chatty. I think my favorite part was sitting inside but facing out to their outdoor patio looking at the fireplace. The wine tasting was fantastic. Jerri- our wine consultant was super personal and knowledgeable. Thank you, Jerri, for making the experience extra special.

A recommended winery in Napa Valley that offers educational tours and music concerts at select times.
We were driving from San Francisco last week and saw the winery which is located on the highway. Great place to see how a larger winery operates. Service was fantastic and the wine was even better!! We bought three bottles to bring home to Texas!!

Grgich Hills Estate is an iconic Napa Valley winery, consistently producing world-class wines. Vintner Hall of Fame inductee Miljenko "Mike" Grgich first earned world-wide recognition when the Chardonnay he crafted won the 1976 Paris Tasting, beating the best of France. Mike then partnered with Austin Hills to open their family-owned-and-operated winery in 1977. Committed to natural winegrowing and sustainability, we farm our five estate vineyards without artificial fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides, rely on wild yeast fermentation and use our passion and art to handcraft food-friendly, balanced and elegant wines.
I've loved Grgich Chardonnays for many years and always wanted to visit. The winery, the vineyards, and the tastings fulfilled my high expectations. The big surprise was how much I loved their Cabernets too! This should have been no surprise if I'd studies the history before arriving there. "Mike" won the Paris Tasting of 1976 for his Chardonnay, that beat all the paragons in France! He judges himself on the quality of his reds -- and I must concur that they, too, are world-class. Cheers!
