Top 10 Things to do in North End, Canada

January 7, 2022 Leonarda Pillsbury

We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens

Reviewed By FirstCircle - Thunder Bay, Canada

This is one of Toronto's most beautiful gardens and connects to the ravine system which is prevalent throughout the city. It is a bit out of the way, being up near Lawrence Station, but the effort is worth it for an end-of-day stroll.

Yonge Street

For an interesting walk and see a wonderful perspective of the many neighborhoods along Yonge St..Take the subway to the Lawrence subway station and start walking down Yonge St. towards Front St. It is best to walk down as to walking up you would be surprised by how steep parts of Yonge St are. This walk will take about 3 to 4 hours depending on the speed you walk any fitness level can easily complete this walk. There is unique stores, coffee shops and restaurant to stop in along the way, there many small parks as well. Enjoy the walk, I do this every time I'm in Toronto and always see and experience something new
