The Heritage Railway & Carousel Company provides hours of laughter and enjoyment to 100, 000 + visitors each summer who stop by to ride the beautiful carousels and miniature railway at North Bay's Waterfront.
This is a great activity at the waterfront! Affordable and really fun for the kids and grandkids! Close by is the playground and picnic grounds, fishing off the dock, the Chief Commanda for eats and beverages. Family friendly! And all in walking distance!

A non profit community based ski hill right in the heart of North Bay, Laurentian Ski Hill has something for everyone. Rental equipment and lessons for the first timers and a terrain park with its own lift and moguls for the more experienced. Laurentian Ski Hill offers 6 runs and 3 lifts with a 300 foot vertical drop.
I used to use this hill for years, and even worked on the hill for a few years, it is a fantastic place to go after supper, for years there was no place close to go for a few hours of fun and just ski, yes short runs and not a lot of them, but for a lot of young kids it was a super place for a day of fun, prices have gone up and things are on a shoe string budget but still it is right here in town and so easy to access, Great use of a "ridge" and has brought many enjoyable hours to a lot of people.Well worth the tim to at least go and experience it.

Besides the jet there isn't a whole lot with this park. There is a playground at one end, the jet at the other. A good number of trees to grab some shade.

Just a short drive up Airport Hill in North Bay, Ontario, will bring you to the Canadian Forces Museum of Aerospace Defence at 22 Wing/CFB North Bay. Dedicated to air defence history from the First World War to modern day, our museum is the only one of its kind in Canada. Remarkable artifacts, fascinating exhibits, great staff and interactive exhibits create a memorable experience for everyone.
As a past member of the CAF, I wanted to show my daughter a part of my past life as a "scope dope." Bethany is a real benefit to the museum. Super friendly and engaging. Self guiding tour. By donation. They have alot of items from WWI & WWII & NORAD. Can last you from half an hour and up.

This is an amazing brewery with a wild abundance of choices! A lot of hard work goes into their craft beers and it shows in the flavours brought out in their beer!
Always something exciting to try at this brewery and the most amazing owners who are engaged with the customers! What a great place!

Located just off Memorial Drive the beach is just north of the pier and marina. Limited parking, but you can find spots across the road.
The beach has fine sand and slopes very gradually down to the water, where it is a very easy entry into the water.
At the back of the beach they have a huge playground, with benches to sit and watch your kids.

This mall is awesome. Lots of variety of stores offering different merchandise. Has a food court with a good selection of little restaurants. In this mall you can find almost everything your shopping for. Stores range from Dollarrama to more pricy stores so good for all budgets.

Nice little museum housed in the stately old railroad station of the past. Considering the importance of rail to this northern community, it is a good fit. Lots of railroad Exhibitions that will be a hit with your children. Also for a limited time, an exhibit honouring the history and life of the voyaguer. Items include voyaguer canoes, dress, tools, and photos and paintings illustrating life of early canoeing times. Well stocked gift shops that highlight trains and transportation, and for the special exbibit, Hudson Bay items. Worth a visit.
