We found the staff to be "over the top" friendly and helpful. To my knowledge there wasn't any information about the local area or Arizona that they weren't delighted to help us with.Thank you for taking the time to give us a kind review! We appreciate your feedback and we are happy to hear that the information from the Visitor Center was helpful.

This quaint museum is located in a historic Nogales, Arizona building that used to serve as the city hall and fire station. The museum has a variety of fascinating displays and photos of not only Nogales history, but that of the Northern Sonora region as well.

This church is a beautiful landmark along the skyline of downtown Nogales. When entering the grounds you will note the walls made of locally quarried Tufa stone, similar to other historic buildings in the area. The massive carved wood doors lead into a sanctuary that is breathtaking in its glorious altar and other religious statues, in addition to the unique wood and cloth ceiling. A must-see for those who enjoy seeing beautiful places of worship.

This has been operating as the "campus" for Cochise College Nogales Center. It also houses the Ranger Museum and the Cowbelle's Museum (check in advance when they are open). Great building filled with amazing historic Nogales photos.

My sister and I have always wanted a pair of boots made just for us so I found a place in AZ that did just that and Paul Bond Boots was the place. We were going to Tucson for a few days and Paul Bond's is in Nogales just an hour away. We had a wonderful time, you have to make time to get a well fitting pair of boots. They measure every part of your foot and calf, you even try on other boots, pick out your leathers, patterns and stitching. We enjoyed everyone we worked with, Dianna our guide through the process, Juan our measurer and helper, Art who greeted us so wonderfully, and Ernesto who helped with colors and leathers everyone and I mean everyone was friendly and as kind as could be. We had our dogs with us as usual and they were allowed to wander around, it is a big barn with places outside for them to do their businesses if need be. We were treated wonderfully. It will take at least 3 to 4 hours so expect to take your time but it will be well worth it. We had a grand time and I hope that some of you will have the same experience but we are all different and all expect different things from our trips.

The Santa Cruz County Wall of Honor lists all veterans from Santa Cruz County dating back over 100 years! The solemn feeling as you go through the names of our country's heroes from the past and present inspires patriotism and pride. Located in the Nogales City Hall park, the Wall of Honor is accentuated with the City Hall fountain with its beautiful LED lights, and children can play at the nearby splash pad. The park area is ideal for picnics, and enjoy the free Wi-Fi.

I hear now you don't need a passport to re-enter the USA if you have two forms of photo ID. I always take my passport with me just in case. At certain times there are long lines to get back. If you've had dental surgery, you can go to the front of line 'with permission' and 'pass' the line. Also anyone over 60 is permitted to jump the queue. Great dentists and doctors within walking distance not to mention fine dining and sushi.

The Nogales City Library is an architectural gem in the heart of downtown Nogales. Designed by Arizona's renowned Bennie Gonzales, it was his first commissioned work as an architect, and received an award from the American Institute of Architects. The little park in front of the library plays off a child's imagination with an oversized book and a fun dinosaur monument. We take our children to the weekly story time, check out media, and use the public computers.

This is an old-school bowling alley. There are 16 lanes. The first 6 feet of the alleys needs some refinishing, but all in all, it's a great old place. Fun for the whole family.
