Welcome! I'm Nariko and I'm giving hands-on cooking classes from my kitchen in a cozy Japanese home which is centrally located in Tokyo. I will teach you how Japanese people cook their daily meals. If you’re fond of wagashi, these traditional Japanese sweets that are almost too beautiful to eat, I warmly recommend you to attend Nariko’s nerikiri workshop. Nerikiri is a type of wagashi made of white and read bean dough that should reflect the season it's being served in. Nariko taught me how to mold saruka (cherry blossom) flowers, peonies, chrysanthemums, and other artistic shapes. I was fascinated by how easily you get beautiful results. The whole experience was unique thanks to Nariko’s passion and patience.

Exciting couple of hours spent in this area (before walking to Ueno Park... a great days' activity) shopping, eating, drinking and soaking in the atmosphere. A great spot for cat spotting (and the occasional dogs!); bring your camera and cash!
