This place is like a walk back to your childhood. They have all the old favorites form years gone by. If they don't have it it is likely you will never see that candy again.

Took a browsing of all 3 floors, everything was amazing to see. Loved the layout of the top floor - it must have been a hotel or apartments. Tiny rooms filled with items made me think who could have lived in these walls. Can't comment on prices as the others did as I only went to browse and didn't look at anything to purchase.

This park is located in Willow Creek valley between the Porcupine Hills and Rocky Mountains. The creek was dammed to form Chain Lakes Reservoir. Large clumps of willow and open grassland result in willow parkland, which is not well represented elsewhere in Alberta's parks and protected areas network.
Chain Lakes Provincial Park ia a quiet park and campground that is located along the Cowboy Trail about an hour and a half outiside Calgary. There were a few fisherman on the reservoir when we were visiting. There is a campground onsite as well as a day use area and another area for groups. There is a kids play area as well as an ice cream shop near the entrance with great ice cream with picnic tables so you can enjoy your treat outside. There are some information boards near the shop that have information about the highlights of the surrounding area as well as a map. Because the park is located a fair distance away from any other cities or towns, it feels like you are truly away from it all when you are here, even if only in the day use area.
