The best thing to do in this lovely small town is to take a stroll along this waterfront and enjoy the quiet beauty of the mountains and lake on one side and beautiful gardens/landscape on the other side

Jennifer Chocolates is an artisan gourmet chocolate shop in Nakusp, BC. We make everything right here on location and very often you can see the chocolatier at work and watch our decadent chocolate creations being made. Come and let us tempt your taste buds with our famous dark chocolate truffles or enjoy summer treats like homemade caramel or ice cream Drumstix.
Amazing handmade chocolates. Fireball whiskey chocolates, frozen chocolate bananas, chocolate dried fruit, homemade marshmallows, and a plethora of different truffles are just a few of my favourite things at her shop. A definite place to stop for a treat.

Nestled deep within the natural beauty of the Kuskanax Valley, the Nakusp Hot Springs offers over 200 acres of year round outdoor recreation opportunities. Located 12 km NE of Nakusp, the Hot Springs are nestled amongst nature's splendour, along the Kuskanax Creek. Come for a restorative soak in the mineral pools after taking a hike on the many trails in the surrounding area. Stay at our cozy Chalets or in our Campground for the full experience. Visit our spectacular Kuskanax Creek Footbridge just a short walk from the Hotsprings. The source of our mineral water and original site of the Hotsprings are also accessible by hiking trails. For the more adventurous, try a day hike to the beautiful Kimbol Lake.
We love Nakusp Hot Springs because it is so clean and bright, and the view over the mountainside from the water is exceptionally beautiful. It's a simple place, not pretentious. Everything is fresh and clean, and their simple snack bar offers great coffee and good food.

We’ve been coming to MacDonald Creek for 4 years for al Mom & Daughter get away. We love relaxing on the sandy beach and although have been disappointed a couple of years because the lake has been high - it was perfect this year. The facilities are first rate and include free showers - and the water is warm! The campground attendants keep the place pristine. The new 2 km hiking trail at the far end of the campground is a wonderful addition. The town of Nakusp is about a 10 minute drive in for supplies and there are a few good restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking. There is plenty to do and see in the area. We look forward to our annual stay at MacDonald Creek provincial park to get away from it all.

Situated in a spectacular waterfront location on beautiful Upper Arrow Lake, with views of the soaring Monashee Mountains, you are invited to relax and immerse yourself in ancient healing waters and their beneficial minerals. The upper pool deck provides a warm pool with jetted swim channel, a relaxing hot pool, and a cold plunge. The lower pool deck hosts a mineral swimming pool (seasonally offered). Refresh your body and soul in the hot spring pools, relax with a treatment at The Spa at Halcyon and enjoy elegant dining with a spectacular view at The Kingfisher Restaurant.
We decided to visit Halcyon Hot Springs one afternoon after a week's skiing in Revelstoke. The Springs are about an hour and a half away. On the drive, you have to cross a lake by car ferry which leaves each hour, on the hour, so try to time it so that you get to the ferry about 15 minutes before it departs. The ferry is a great experience (and it's free). The resort itself is easy to find once you leave the ferry and drive for about 15 minutes (on the right). The spa is picturesque and well worth the drive. There are changing rooms, lockers and th hot waters are very relaxing, especially when it's puking snow and you're warm in the mineral waters. A great place to spend a day, an afternoon or a weekend, as they have accommodation.
