One of the most beautiful home decorating shops around. Really this is a gem and definitely a place for the wife to enjoy. For the bloke..there is an excellent coffee shop next door. My advice buy a paper and order a large coffee...you will need it.

I use the Southern Highlands to break up the drive between Sydney to Canberra. What a pleasant surprise it was when I stumbled across this gem of a shop. The moment you walk through the doors you see the exquisite displays and you're greeted by their warm and welcoming staff. With such a wide range pieces available there is literally something for everyone. My comment won't do this shop justice, you must see for yourself. It's easy to see why it's so popular with the locals, Bowerbird on Argyle is arguably the best shop in the Southern Highlands.

Nest & Burrow was established in Bundanoon in 2012 before opening in Moss Vale in September 2017. After watching the exciting progression of the town’s shopping precinct in recent times, we knew we just had to be a part of it! With dark walls, an industrial ceiling, and mood lighting, this store offers one of the most unique shopping experiences for everyone offering wonderful & rarely found gift lines for all ages. Inside you’ll find Italian wallets & handbags, handmade cushions from Scotland, kitchen wares, unique lighting, gifts for him, and plenty of exciting choices for children. Jewelery, watches, body products, and fragranced candles are all individually sourced from home and abroad. Located on the town’s leafy main street, our store is lovingly decorated and stocked with a stunning collection of giftware that you can spend hours exploring. It’s fast becoming a favourite with both locals and visitors to the Southern Highlands alike.

A great park for a picnic, or just a laze. Moss Vale has a beautiful main street. It would be great if this area could be used for the Farmers Market!

What makes style: unique vision, bold choices, striking accents, contrast and fusion, a synthesis of innovation and tradition? If you’re visiting the Southern Highlands, you’ll find style exemplified at the Sally Beresford Antiques/French Farmhouse Tables showroom, just outside of Moss Vale. The collection lives in the rugged, and historic, Produce Store, on the Mount Ashby Estate Winery, a charming spot surrounded by vineyards and grazing dairy cows. Sally Beresford is unafraid of bold choices, and her range of bespoke, locally handcrafted tables, fashioned from select French and European timbers, speaks to this with distinctive lines, and a striking synthesis of the modern and time-honoured. This treasure trove is not short on elements to accent your home: French Provincial and English Georgian antiques, architectural and statement pieces, and objet d’art, acquired on Sally’s buying trips to France. How could your search for style be disappointed here? It couldn’t.

A 60’s inspired wine bar and restaurant which offers relaxed comfortable and stylish lounge and dining area overlooking beautiful Leighton Gardens. The Wine Lounge offers an ever changing seasonal menu, delicious and varied wine selection, cocktails, craft beers and coffee all day from noon, 5 days a week. It also offers a great space for hosting that special event, dinner or cocktail party in the heart of the Highlands.
We are local to the Southern Highlands and have frequented Wine Mosaic Lounge many times for just a drink or a meal, so decided to hold my birthday function there. Sue, John, Pete and Kate made the night the perfect success making sure all the details were attended to including champagne, beer and meal selection for 40 guests. Efforts were made to have photos scrolling on a screen and music of our choice in background. Food could not be faulted and a great effort was made to suit our needs - the oysters and prawns were fabulous! The food was prepared and served efficiently and we thank the chefs and staff for their presentation. We can whole-heartedly recommend this venue for such a function. Thanks again to Sue and John for giving the Highlands a special relaxed and inviting venue. Sandra & Darby
