My friend and I were traveling from California to Indiana, stopping at as many national parks as possible along the way. We happened by the Museum of the Mountain West while driving through and were absolutely blown away by the collection Mr.Fike has acquired over the years. It felt as though we stepped back in time. Every piece in the museum has a story. Mr.Fike and his staff are extremely friendly and proud of the things they have on display. Thank you for preserving this history and for sharing it with the world. This is a must do if you’re in the area. We were there for almost three hours and could have easily stayed for many more, so much to see. Thank you Mr.Fike and your amazing staff and volunteers for an amazing experience!

Founded in 1959, we are the longest running community theatre in Colorado. Magic Circle Players is dedicated to the presentation of quality live theatre in the Montrose community. Magic Circle is a non- profit volunteer organization with a dedicated network of talented actors, directors and technicians. All shows are cast through open auditions. Our season runs concurrently with the school year.
The level of talent in this community theater will amaze you. There isn't a bad seat in the house, with the seating arranged stadium-style in a near semi-circle around the open stage, which sits below the audience (or at the same level as the first & lowest row of seats). Musicals tend to sell out quickly, but more dramatic plays generally offer available tickets right up to the day of a performance. If you're looking for a wonderful way to spend an evening (or an afternoon if you prefer a matinee), Magic Circle Players are sure to entertain.

If your deciding how to get to Telluride- stop! Black Bear is the ONLY choice. Chad is a great communicator from beginning to end. Our flight was delayed more than 10 hours, Chad was on the phone with me ensuring me he would take care of us and he DID!!!! From DFW, my grown children were routed to Durango where Chad sent Bill (safe, kind driver) to pick them up. While my husband and I were routed thru Denver. Crazy situation but Chad figured everything out, and had us on our way to Telluride. We will never be able to thank you for going beyond the call of service. Trip back with Peter was fantastic- very knowledgeable about the area, entertained us with stories that made the trip go way to fast - could have heard more. Black Bear Limo is the only way to go to and from Telluride! Many thanks to Chad, Bill, and Peter for a safe, comfortable, and for your friendships. Thank you is not enough!

Storm King Distilling Co. is the result of a family passion for finely crafted spirits. We are Montrose's first craft distillery creating a selection of whiskies, gin, rum and agave spirits. We also have a tasting room where we use our spirits to develop an ever changing menu of craft cocktails. We have a food truck outside and all ages are welcome.
