When your in Ohio Amish country you must make Hershberger's Farm & Bakery part of your stay. The bakery store is filled with the aroma of frsh baked goods along with the wonderful assortment of fresh fruits & veggies. In the fall there are literally "tons" of beautiful squash & pumpkins everywhere. Also don't miss the leather goods (belts, handbags, phone case, money clips) along with many other Amish made gift ideas. You will be made welcome and feel refreshed.

We visited the cyclorama painting as well as one-room school and barn. The person who described the detailed painting was informative, however, I found the presentation to be quite hurried with little time for questions. The barn and school tours were also hurried, little time for questions and few details of current or former Amish school & farm life discussed. The musty odor in the school room was very strong. Maybe " air out a bit on warm, sunny days?"

The Amish Country Theater features family comedy variety shows that are guaranteed to entertain the whole family. The unique shows include live music, hilarious actors, magicians, clean family comedians, homemade concessions, souvenirs, and a great atmosphere. Our 300-seat auditorium is located inside of an authentic Amish barn. Come early to enjoy the most famous foods from around Amish Country. Don’t forget to pick up some merchandise in our authentic Hen House!
This is always the the most enjoyable family entertainment ANYWHERE! Amish Country Theater is my 90 year old mother's very favorite place to visit, and the Christmas in the Country Show was the best! I really enjoyed it, but hearing my mother's laughter, is just the best thing to me. Thank you all for that. The gift of laughter is the very best gift of all, and the Amish Country Theater never disappoints in providing us this gift. Thank you all & Merry Christmas!

Awesome, awesome place. First time visiting this farm. W had such a good time. We took the wagon ride. The animals were great. The driver stops periodically and the animals come running. My hands were so slimey from their slobber. They give you a bucket of feed when you load the wagon, for no additional cost. Afterwards we roamed around the farm checking out all the barns and the house. The ladies in the house offered us cookies, for no additional cost. If you catch it right you can witness milking. Great place to spend an afternoon.

Millers is actually two stores side by side and each store has two levels, so plan on spending some time and probably some money. My wife wanted to stop here because best selling author Wanda Brunstetter had her picture taken by the shop's sewing machine sign for the book Lydia's Charm. YAWN. However, upstairs in the quilt barn there are markdowns. A bargain room- now that I can get more excited about. The finished examples of the patterns for sale were beautiful. The main store had a weekend sale of 20 percent off all purchases, even those already marked down. Hmm. Found a Ford truck print- now that's more like it. Wife of course found a few things but we saved a lot.

We stopped in Ashery's to shop for items to take home to family and friends. They have a very big selection of bulk food items and great prices on meats and cheeses. It was close to lunch time, so we decided to get deli sandwiches and then found they had some of the best frozen custard we have ever eaten. It was very, very good. We picked up local jams, candy, bulk foods and Guggisberg cheese to take home. I would highly recommend stopping here, especially at lunch time.

We paid $16.50 for the two of us and had a tour in the barn and house.
They have other options of tours too including an Amish school tour and a carriage ride.
The tour was informative but didn't feel like the lady that done it was enjoying her job at all.
She also didn't seem to like it when her script was interrupted by any questions.
Make sure you visit the bakery at the end! Delicious homemade cookies for $0.50 each.

The Holmes County Flea Market is a 58,000 square foot indoor flea market, fully handicapped accessible, climate controlled, with a huge variety of shopping options, as well as a full service food court that serves gourmet burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and desserts.
I love to brouse around. I do not care for the back part of the facility with all the $1 boxes of stuff, but it seems others do. I prefer quality goods and I love the country craft items to decorate the house and the...Moredonnafiala, Thank you for taking the time to review our market! I hear you on the $1 items, but you're right; tons of folks love shopping in there! I'm glad you're able to find authentic crafts to adorn your home!

Baked goods, meat, cheese, spices, candy and awesome ice cream! We always love coming to Walnut Creek as we make our way through Amish Country. My only piece of advice, get here before the tour busses.

Have visited many times over the years and they consistently make the best cheese (among many good cheeses) in Amish Country.
A really neat fake-Swiss looking building houses their main store and facility. The gift shop is relatively small, but remains true to it's heritage. A classic must-see stop when visiting the 'AC'.
