I have been going to this winery for years and they have the best wine. They offer wine tasting, up to four wines complementary, after that there is a cost. Their selection is very nice and the prices can’t be beat. They do offer a discount of 10% if you buy a case. The Cranberry Blush is one of my favorites. They also do tours, and the staff is very knowledgeable and very nice. The shop offers unique wine accessories.

My wife used to volunteer here 35 years ago, so we planned a day of hiking, reminiscence, and wandering along the North Shore in a cool breeze with waves lapping at our feet. Beautiful azure water stretching to the horizon and blazingly blue sky above. Wildflowers galore, birds and more a good day of mild exercise and relaxation.
There's a visitor's center with displays, educational programs, a gift shop, and informational material.
The shoreline walk alone is good enough reason to spend some time here.

In MENOMENEE FALLS, 30 km (20 miles) Northwest Milwaukee, easy with a GPS! After the expensive Museum in the famous city, we travel to this unknown town. A free tour is offered each couple of hours, last one 1:30 pm. We arrive in the last minute, and happily it was place for us (first come, first served). Mr. Greg (I think) was our guide around the engines factory. No pictures allowed. We enjoyed a lot the 70 min. visit , and all the explanations. Certainly, a Must-to-See for any who loves H-D!.

This is a great paved bike trail for every type of bike. We biked from Cedarburg to Belgium and back. It was just shy of 40 miles. The trail out of Cedarburg is busy and crosses a lot of roads. Our favorite part of the trail was from Knellsville to Belgium because there are few cross roads and the trail just winds along the edge of farm after farm.

Kapco ballpark is the summer home of the lake shore chinooks, a team in the Northwoods league… A summer collegiate league in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. It is located on the campus of concordia University in Wisconsin, just north of Milwaukee. Capacity is about 2500 people, and they regularly turn out over 1000 per night for games. My son was assigned to play here for this summer, out of kent state University… And he loves it. It is very family-friendly, lots of things for the kids, reasonable prices, good food, and something for everybody.

Visited just once in the mid 2000's to see a 3 piece psychedelic blues band. Acoustics were good, seating at the smallish bar satisfactory and the beers were a little pricey for the small joint. Would have returned a year or so later but owner got the gig date balled up and cancelled the band's booking.

Recently made the detour out here again. Nice picturesque setting for a picnic if you want to get away from Cedarburg for a bit. Didn't realize this is the last covered bridge in the state. Not spectacular, but worth it if you're a covered bridge fan or just looking for a unique spot for a picnic.

We frequent Virmond, as it is close, clean, peaceful, offering great commanding views of Lake Michigan from high on a bluff. Open sunrise to sunset. Ample free parking. Large open fields for sports, walking, or trail riding. Updated and large play area for young kids. Charcoal grills, and covered seating areas. 2 fenced in tennis courts.

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff
Good prices
I believe their facility is in an old mill along the creek. It was cold when we were there, but we plan to go back to sit outside along the creek.

The Chancery is always a stop for lunch or dinner. Wide variety on the menu. I love the Beer Cheese soup with the giant pretzel! Full bar with plenty of seating. I only rate as average as service can be questionable and the last few times the soup has been lukewarm. Good burgers and many different choices on the menu. Salads are good as well.
