We love the whole experience at LOEW This was the second time we'd been and, as before, choosing which wines to leave behind was difficult. LOEW is the gold standard for us in the Niagara area. When we mentioned this to another winery we visited the comment was that we had very high standards they were being held to. The only thing that detracted from the experience this time was the need to purchase food due to a new New York law. The food provided, although pleasant and nicely presented, did nothing to cleanse the palate between wines. If anything the flavors stopped the full beauty of the wine frome coming through. Next time we are in the area, we will return for more.

Beautiful waterfall that you can view from the tow path of the Erie Canal. Fun to look down on the falls and see the kayakers gets close to the falls in Orchard Creek. If you don’t want to walk the ten minutes from downtown, there is a small parking lot on the west (town) side of the one lane bridge across the canal. Walk 200 hundred feet to your right from the parking lot to see the falls. Nice view of the town and bridge too. Falls were going strong in August, so may not be too dependent on rainfall. If you have young kids, keep close watch as you are walking the tow path. No fences on guardrails on the canal side and a steep drop off on the waterfall side.

What an amazing collection of Railroad memorabilia. The museum is the length of a football field containing a large model railroad with working trains (204 ft long), toy trains, ship models, fire fighting equipment, Heinz factory memorabilia and lots of railroad items (tools, matches, signage, outfits, signals, furniture, etc). This is an incredible collection and some very unique items that is a must for any fan of trains or fire fighting. They also have train rides but last year they were unable to run due to Covid. They hope maybe bu June or the Fall they might be able to open up for rides. My girlfriend loved the mystery train they took a few years ago and would like to do another. I hope to get back and do one of these rides. In the meantime, the museum is more than worth it to check out.
